Banned from Coral Free Bets. Help

  • Hi

Fairly new to all of this. But I placed a bet on corals prematch/free in play offer. But never received the free bet. When talking to customer service they tell me that the trading team has suspended my account from all free bets/promotions.

Has anyone else had this problem? How did it get resolved

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

That sucks! Have you ever had an account restored?

It’s extremely unlikely a gubbing decision would ever get reversed, as you’ve been identified as an unprofitable customer by the bookie. If you weren’t notified about the gubbing, you might be able to wangle a free bet out of it by complaining to customer services, but no guarantee.

I think I have read on these forums that one or two people have been ungubbed recently, not sure if it was from Coral though, or someone else. I think they were using their gubbed accounts to E/W arb, and the bookies assumed they were mugs and so ungubbed them.

It is extremely rare though, so its unlikely you will be ungubbed. There are however lots of other bookies about, also Coral is one of the few family friendly books still around.

I am ungubbed! my account was bonus banned a few years ago when there was a mass gubbing of people all jumping on the same offer (I think Profit Accumulator tweeted it or something) but I have continued betting with them on e/w arbs or dutching or whatever and they never limited my stakes too much. eventually they started emailing me offers again. Coral are the only bookie I’ve ever had do this though, and obviously if a bookie limits you severely you won’t be able to even appear like a mug, so don’t get your hopes up.

Today I returned to a Sky account that was restricted a few months back, to test the water on the 3 places offer. Previously it was restricted to a couple of quid at best, but I managed to get nearly 20 quid on for a 200 win.

Not tried it with the USA book which was what got me in trouble in the first place, but it’s the only time I’ve experienced a bookie reverse a restriction.

Still gubbed though as I can’t do the free bet club.
