Best way to do this bonus please ?

  • I’ve read Matts blog but still confused on how to play this. Just signed up to a bookie (bet @ home)…. Ive deposited £10 and they have gave me a £20 bonus. It says the betting voucher must be rolled over 6 times at 1.50 minimum odds so i assume i need to spend £120 in bets in ‘wagering’.

I know ideally i need to ‘lose it’ all in one go so do i bet £20 (bonus) or the whole £30 (my deposit PLUS the £20 bonus).

ALSO….if i back at low odds (a favourite) to minimise losses, there’s more chance of the money going to the bookie so do people think it best to go for high odds (an outsider) to more or less ensure you lose it to Smarkets?.

The only trouble is the lay odds are then quite away out so will cost me more but will save me wagering.

AND FINALLY …. if i have to bet the whole £30 to take all the money and run….. which option on the calculator do i use please?…. (bearing in mind £10 is mine of which i am sure they wont let me withdraw if i havent met their wagering requirements with the £20 bonus)

Sorry for the blonde moment but struggling to get my head around it

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

I can’t find the offer so not entirely sure but I would…

…find as close a match as possible and hope the selection loses. As you say, the higher the odds the more difference there will be between the bookie and exchange, so I would go for around about a 2/1 range bet.

If it wins due to the ‘Law of Sod’, 😉 then you only have £90 left to wager, which could be done again in one go at low odds, meaning you would still be be making £15 or so from the offer.

Is there a link to the offer with the terms and conditions?

May just pick a game at low odds and hope for the best and looking at matts blog he uses QUALIFYING option on the calculator and underlays it so may just do that too
