Bet 365 4-1 method

  • I’ve not done that many of these, but by doing close to the race every time you’re going to end up hitting prices just before they drop fairly regularly and making your account stand out.

I’ve tried a few times just backing a horse at 4-1 earlier on then hoping for a price movement –
Price shortens u can lay at a better price
Price drifts then best odds guaranteed plus give u a nice arbs
The only real risk seems if the price drifts slightly, so 4-1 to 9-2 and the exchange odds are a bit crap say 6.4. Slightly precarious position if the odds shorten at the last second as the bog offer goes

Also for more experienced users off this offer what’s the crack if the horse u risk free bet on withdraws?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

    Doz 1

If your horse withdraws you lose the risk free aspect, had one recently, gutting but the way it goes.
I generally back/lay just before the off but occasionally do as you say and pick up some nice arbs, it’s a great offer.

FogBlog did a really good post on this offer a while back with a lot of the various options and calculations worked out for us, might be worth doing a quick search for it.

Backing a horse at 4/1 especially if i wasnt going to be able to watch the race is the last thing id be doing. Any rule 4 deduction means your bet doesnt qualify for the offer and you could end up well out of pocket depending on the lay price.

Thanks for clarification not withdrawn horses doz

I’ve not seen any detailed discussion since the bog plus came in. The fact a 4-1 horse could become a 10-1 payout, yet trade at 8.4 has to be a big one

Good point on rule 4 pickle, but you’d have to take a proper look before laying near race time anyway. There’s always the bet365 cash out option if rule 4 removed the offer and you’re not sure of the new lay price/odds guarantee working
