New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.
Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.
I got the same a couple of weeks ago.
In my case it was effectively a gubbing as they seriously limited the stakes I was able place on a bet.
The offers, apart from their £50 in play ones, are still open to you, but if you can’t get much on it’s pointless.
Have you tried placing a bet and seeing if they’ve placed any restrictions on you?
+0So there football £50 one, i won’t be able to do anymore? Isn’t that one open to all customers?
Umm no i haven’t tried. I’m really gutted to lose 365 if that is the case.+0I also got the same email recently. It’s worth checking to see if you are restricted on more than one sport. I’m restricted on horse racing but can put decent sums on football for example.
+0From what I’ve read that’s the standard gubbing email.
Limited to the 4-1 offer, but stake restrictions usually kick in on horse racing+0Aye you’re gubbed
+0Yep you’re gubbed. The £50 in-play offer is gone, and you’ll be lucky to get £10 on a 4/1 horse (but still get risk free if it wins)
+0Get regular offer updates, tip and tricks, big offer alerts and more straight to your inbox.
Yes gubbed… 90% of the time you are allowed to win £50 from them so £10 on a 5/1 or £5 on a 10/1 making the horse offer pointless!
You could do £100 on a 1/2 football too but they have very few arbs so again pointless…
Have you no siblings, partner, mistress, parents or friends 🙂
+0Sad times, i see it as the beginning of the end with match betting for me. Only really got fred and 888 left and i’ve been hammering them recently.
+0The 4/1 offer isn’t totally pointless if you’re gubbed. I can normally get £12.50 on at 4/1, so £25 e/w. You get the whole £25 refunded if you hit a winner.
+0Yes but you then cant get £25 on the next race… plus depending on the race betting ew you will struggle to matchbet the placepart anyway without a big ql.. you would be better just to gamble £2 ew on the horse you want to back
+0You can get the whole £25 on the next race. Just pick a horse at any price and hit ‘max bet’. If it wins they’ll pay you out as if you had £25 on that horse. It’s also not that hard to match the place. I quite often get arbs as B365 do 1/4 odds on every race.
+0I am restricted to €12.50 wins on B365. I’ve still scraped €200 extra profit off them since Christmas by finding value in their over night prices (I’ve been finding 10-20 horses each night that match the exchange lay price or are small arbs and that turn into big arbs when the exchange price levels out during the next day).
I was gubbed and restricted heavily enough on Sky and still made a decent chunk off them, first on their boosts and then on their not to place arbs. And I think I can go back again and try again to see if they have decent early prices too.
I am now making plans to re visit all other bookies that I am gubbed and restricted from to see if there is any potential. Especially betway and 888sport which I lost very very early, but think they were just straight gubbing with no restrictions and betway are doing BOG plus now and I’ve heard 888sport are very slow at updating their race odds when a horse comes steaming in so both accounts should be ideal for e/w arbing.
+0got the dreaded mail today, had a piece of each ITV race and only one won. mail received shortly after, now got a max limit of £50 win in racing.
dammit i really liked this account, had it since 2013 and it survived numerous £50 in-play bets during the years. oh well, better start prepping papers for a new one, cheltenham is coming..+0
