bet365 Risk-Free bet offer

  • Sorry to create a new thread for what may be an “old” offer, but I’ve been through about 10 pages of posts and can’t find anything about it.

I want to make sure I’ve understood the bet365 offer on the Feature Races: the risk-free bet is only granted if your horse wins? Therefore, effectively it gives you an increased return on the qualifying bet equal to whatever you think you can make from the £50 risk-free bet. Thus, you would over-lay the qualifying bet to lock in a profit? And one of the terms on bet365 is a bit confusing as it says that “Risk free bet winnings exclude stake.” How can winnings exclude stake, as I’m using my own money to place my “risk-free” bet.

    Thanks in advance.

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Old ground indeed, but at least you tried to find an existing thread first 🙂

Take a look at this thread, it should provide some help…

Re your last question you do get your stake back, I think the wording is just saying that the winnings (i.e.profit) does not include your stake, even though it is obviously returned to you as well if your risk free bet wins.

Unfortunately, although I was able to click through to the thread on my mobile, it now has replaced the link with the Bet365 affiliate link instead, so I can’t find it again. WordPress getting too clever for itself…

    Thanks deathstar – that worked.

By the way, is there any positive confirmation that you have qualified for the risk-free bet? I don’t want to win, place a risk-free bet, lose and THEN find I’ve been gubbed and not get the stake back.

arb, you usually won’t get a message to confirm you have a free bet during the day as races are close together. Bet365 usually do send you a reminder if you won the last race of the day.
