What are your opinion on the extra place races…recently sky and coral have been changing the 16+ runner ones from 1/4 odds to 1/5 which in my eyes negates any value (its effectively just offering an extra place payout as realistically 2 places should be 1/2, 3 should be 1/3 etc). I am hoping that its just generally there havent been any big extra place races, they tend to be flat races really dont they apart from obvious ones like cheltenham. Did anyone notice simialr last year or is this a case of bookies closing a loop hole?
