BWIN 50 welcome bonus
-
I’ve just signed up for matched betting, and did the Bwin welcome bonus. I was just wondering exactly what it meant by “You must have settled bets to the value of five times your qualifying deposit and bonus before making a withdrawal”, and exactly how I could make money of this bet.

New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Did you deposit £50 to get the £50 bonus?
If so, then you need to have settled bets worth £500 before you will be able to withdraw any funds. There will also be a timeframe mentioned in the T&Cs in which you will have to complete this, and there will be minimum odds (probably 1.5) that your bets must be over to qualify as part of your wagering requirements (WR).
In an ideal world all your bets will lose at Bwin and the money will end up in your exchange quickly, but that doesn’t always happen 😉
You therefore need to assume that you will win EVERY bet at Bwin, so you will have to have sufficient float in your exchange account to enable you to do this. A lot of people get stuck on offers like this as they end up with a huge balance in the bookie and no money left to lay off qualifying bets at the exchange to get through the WR.
Good luck!
HTH 🙂
+0Yeah I did. Do you think its worth me continuing with it then? I’ve already done my qualifying bet- but Im willing to take a hit of £1.50 if it means less hassle.
+0and does the 500 include the deposit + bonus bet?
+0Did the qualifying bet win or lose at Bwin?
If it won, you might find that you cannot access the winnings (and would therefore be giving up more than the £1.50 qualifying loss).
If not, the question is whether YOU think that it is worth continuing 🙂
Do you have sufficient float in your exchange (or can you put enough in there) to cover winning £500 worth of bets at odds of, say 2.0 – 3.0? I.e. do you have £1000 in your exchange?
It is not the hardest offer in the world to complete, but you should also make sure that there are no funky T&Cs that require you to have a % of your WR on multiples, etc…. I never use Bwin so I have no ideal how competitive their odds are either. Don’t forget though, that you are tackling this offer to get at a free £50. If a lot of that will be eaten up by QLs then is it worth it? Your call really.
In future you should really think about these things before you start an offer or make a deposit, but at least you are stopping to think about it now before getting any deeper.
Hope it works out for you.
EDIT – yes, the £500 includes your deposit and bonus fund ([£50 + £50] x5)
+0Finally, would I have to do the 400 (to get it up to 500) as a qualifying bet?
+0Yeah, the bonus funds are just that, so they should be treated as “your” money for all intents and purposes when placing qualifying bets.
You don’t need to whack the whole £400 on in one lot mind (which you wouldn’t be able to do anyway unless your first bet was a £100 stake and won at 5.0 or higher)
Do keep in mind though that you want to keep QLs to a minimum as the “free money” you are chasing here is only £50. You could consider underlaying your bets so that if they are constantly winning at Bwin you are making marginal savings on your exchange liabilities, and if they lose then you have not taken maximum value, but at least you will have busted out the rollover and finished the offer.
Hope my responses have helped you 😉
+0Hi I had a question regarding BWIN and rollovers related to this too was hoping for some help. I signed up to an older offer of deposit 30 and get 60 so I now have 60 locked in the account and need to ‘Wager GBP 180 on Sports bets (Minimum odds restrictions of 1.70)’. My question is, when using the calculator, will these be qualifying bets, as the bonus 30 is essentially mine? Or is it a free bet or risk free bet/ stake returned bet etc.

+0Sorry for being thick just want to make sure, now I have my free 30 when I place my following bets in order to roll it over, I place them all as ‘qualifying bets’
Thanks for your help Tony+0
