Channel 4 Racing

  • Another day of Horse Racing = plenty of chances to make money.

    Ladbrokes money back if 2nd
William Hill money back 2nd (Mobile only)
Bet365 £50 risk free bet if you back a winner 4/1
Betfair Sportsbook £25 free bet if you back a winner 3/1

if you combine all these offers together if gives you great chance, particularly in the race I have highlighted 2:25 Sandown with only 5 runners (one which is 50/1) so if you want to say 4 runners (I know you can never predict horses).

    Good luck!

Channel 4 racing has been on a lot the past week-10 days. NO ch4 racing tomorrow though – Bet365 do a feature race offer but odds are usually terrible. William Hill may be carrying on their feature meeting offer.

There were a few other bookies doing offers on racing today as well so might carry on tomorrow.

no sorry i meant in your original post i saw
    money back if 2nd
    money back 2nd (Mobile only)
Bet365 £50 risk free bet if you back a winner 4/1
Sportsbook £25 free bet if you back a winner 3/1

it should state it on the home page when you scroll down to see the races but it didn’t.

I’m gutted that would of been my first win from 2nd place refund. I hate it when they do mobile only offers i don’t see what difference it even makes?

Walka I put “William Hill money back 2nd (Mobile only)” so i did make it quite clear…your first win from 2nd refund? its really not difficult, aslong as you find a race with only 5 horses and two of them are clear favourites if you back one with Ladbrokes one with William Hill over 50% chance one comes 2nd to be honest I must have had a hell of alot of 2nd place refunds over the months I’ve been doing this.
But from your question about why its Mobile only, well its obvious they hope people will bet using their mobile like it etc and bet on the go etc.

The number of races with only 5 horses and 2 clear favourites isn’t that common. Only 1, maybe 2 a week if lucky. The other 4/5 races are huge handicaps. If you really want to make serious profit from the racing, you should study the horses. Today and yesterday was easy – heavy ground at Cheltenham, Ayr and Sandown = front running, stamina laden mudlarks. You can eliminate most of the horses in a race at this time of the year.

Maybe not 5 exactly, but it happens quite often and therefore I only bet on the ones where its not an open field. I only do the Channel 4 races and usually come out with at least 2 2nd place refunds so i’m happy with that. I don’t see the point of wasting qualifying losses on the big open races with tons of horses. Stick to the smaller fields and cover the top 2 favourites and you’ll get the refunds.

Match better. Maybe you can post your tips for the next time they do the offer?

I only got one hit today

You don’t even need to know anything about Horse Racing though. Just cover the top 2 favourites and you will get the 2nd place refunds which will far outweigh and cover your qualifying losses!

yeah i didn’t realise it was will hill offer you was referring too that was mobile only. I’m not blaming you don’t worry lol. Just a beginners mistake. Yeah i understand that part but why wouldn’t they just do mobile and desktop for the offer i don’t see the why its only for mobile. Yeah i will keep my eye out for more races like that. Thanks Ryan appreciate your help 🙂

Ryan would you be willing to start a topic or a whatsapp group everytime you think theres a decent opportunity for some 2nd place refunds?

I can post the horses I’m going to do either the night before or on the morning. I had OO Seven on Ladbrokes and William Hill, Soll on Bet365, I had Silver Tassie on Bet365, who fell at the last when all over the winner, and Caledonia on William Hill. I pretty much had a winning bet on each race I did – I didn’t bet on the Chelmsford race (no idea about all-weather racing) and the last at Sandown (too many options).

But, it also depends on the qualifying loss – if you are up at 8, William Hill do price boosts at 8.30 which you can usually make profit on. You can also do the pricewise horses in the morning, which will make no loss. Bet365 also do price boosts after 8.30.

I honestly have no knowledge of horses but like I said its just a case of betting the top 2 favourites, keeping your qualifying losses to a minimum and don’t go doing the races with 20 odd horses where the chances of your horse coming 2nd is so slim. Honestly next Saturday check out all the races and pick the ones accordingly!

Well if you only do them, you won’t make much during Cheltenham, when pretty much every race will be 10+ runners and very competitive.

The big handicaps with 20+ runners, you can pretty much eliminate half of them by looking at form etc.

Ryan I was referring to the bet365 deal where you need to back a winner at 4/1 plus.
Easy £35-40 profit if you can get one.

I didn’t have time to do 007 which is really annoying. Did that horse on bet365 but not the 2nd place deals 🙁
I did get one second place today though.

The other thing I’d like to know is what do you guys do with all the money in bet365!?
I withdrew £400 the other day and another £500 today and I still have £400 in there. These horse wins really bump up the account. I managed to find a few losers at £50 each when trying to win again but had £100 on man city and £100 on Arsenal. Just keep winning bets lol

I made one mistake today by betting on the race after c4 finished as a mug bet. I back at 5.5 I think but ended up laying at 6.8 cos the market kept rising 🙁 lost £16 of my profit on that one. So annoying as once I’d placed the bet there wasn’t a lot I could do about it
