Coral Connect
-
Hey
I was stealth gubbed by coral online pertaining to their free bet promotions in early summer this year. Last week was the first week I signed up to coral connect. Where I simply went in shop registered the card and linked it to my online account which I hadn’t used since my gubbing. Coral offer a free bet worth £20 for weekend football when you bet £20 in shop for midweek football (Mon-Thurs). I had done this last week and received a £10 free bet online on Friday night and a free £10 in shop bet on Saturday. The point of the post is if your not restricted to pennies online with coral but have been banned from their promotions you can still get free bets via the connect card currently £20 a week. I hope this is useful to those that are in a similar situation

New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Thanks for the heads up @Daveangle, was gubbed by them back in May so hopefully I can take advantage of this. Out of interest, what ID/Verification did you need to provide when signing up?
+0Hey
They just require your driving licence and your online account username thats it. It’s really simple and quick to register in shop. By the way with the shop £10 free bet you can only activate it by placing a bet of any value in shop on the weekend. Once you have done this they will give you your £10 free bet voucher. Last week I did a £1 bet to activate it
+0That is useful Dave.
+0Certainly is, I would never have thought to try it, being gubbed since Cheltenham – there’s a Coral just down the road, very handy.
+0I have got it down to a fine art now! I place the £20 qualifying bet in store using one of the machines which scans your card and you log in.You can even change to decimal odds on the machine, nice!
I also log into Smarkets on my phone to find something with a small QL,Which I then lay when I get home.
On Friday night at about 9-10pm you should get the £10 free bet on your online account.
On the Saturday or Sunday I go back to the shop and put a £1 bet on but, this time you must do this over the counter,You scan your card and enter your pin number at the small device on the counter.
Now,when they print out the receipt for your £1 bet they will also give you a slip with £10 free bet written on it.I then promptly look for a bet as you would for a free bet i.e high odds and a close as poss match(by the way,the odds in store are quite poor compared to online).Last week the best I could find was something like 6.5/7.4.Still a £7+ profit so all good.
I’ve done this now for the last 3-4 weeks with no problems. At the end of the day it’s £20 in free bets for 2 trips to a Coral shop(And I also laid the £1 bet as well lol).
I hope this helps anyone new to this offer, cheers.
ps this week i backed and laid Real Madrid at 1.02/1.05 hope I get the free bets this week as there are no min odds in the t&c’s! Why I laid Madrid i don’t know but,you never know!!+1Nice write up biscuit, always useful to hear how others go about things. Though I’d be too embarrassed to place a £1 back bet over the counter at 1.02 !!
+0Cheers Blue! Just one thing,My £1 bet wasn’t on the 1.02 shot,my £20 qualifying bet for this week was lol

Lol, ok, I’ll let you off 🙂
+0My bets for this week- £20 in store on Real Madrid at 1.02 !(laid at 1.05- 90p loss)
£10 online free bet credited on Friday night.(used on the horses for max profit).
Saturday in store £1 bet on Liverpool to win at 1.25.£10 free bet slip given to me when I placed the £1 bet.
£10 in store bet placed on the 0-0 draw Chelsea v Man Utd at 9/10.5 for £7.50 profit.+0Is this on this week can’t see it advertised on the mid week coupons.
+0It’s hard to tell. The Connect site suggests that it’s always on, so I’ll place a bet anyway and see whether the free bet shows up on Friday. I prefer to keep my head down, so for the sake of a 50p QL I’ll bet and hope.
+0I’ve just been in a shop and the posters are still up advertising it.I got the draw between Juventus and Lyon at 5/4.9.I got the price from the midweek coupon on the wall as the odds on there are higher than using the connect machine, sly b’stads lol
+0Back in the UK for a visit so I went to my local Coral yesterday to sign up for this, had a nightmare 2 technofobes running the shop-I ended up going round the counter and signing myself up-Seriously!!
Hopefully I have done it correctly and the £10 free online bet will come through Fri and the £10 shop bet when I place my bet Sat.
I have read somewhere that this offer also qulifies you the free £5 in shop bet, could someone confirm and how and when it’s credited?
+0Hi Steve,I hope it’s not too cold for you over here compared to Orlando?!
I do this offer every week without fail.I get the online and in store free bets no problems.Regarding the £5 free bet you mentioned,I don’t get any in shop bets only the £10 one after placing the extra in shop bet at the weekend.
Oddly enough though,I sometimes get an online £5 free bet credited for no apparent reason(not complaining lol).
Anyway all the best during your stay, bloody cold innit!!+0biscuit, I too get the £5:00 bet as well as the other two tenners.
I had a £20 bet last night, and it was credited this evening.
Also, when I go to place the in shop bet, I just tell the staff that I should have a Free Bet in my account and they print off a Free Bet slip, without having to place another bet.
Nice.+0
