Coral Connect
-
Hey
I was stealth gubbed by coral online pertaining to their free bet promotions in early summer this year. Last week was the first week I signed up to coral connect. Where I simply went in shop registered the card and linked it to my online account which I hadn’t used since my gubbing. Coral offer a free bet worth £20 for weekend football when you bet £20 in shop for midweek football (Mon-Thurs). I had done this last week and received a £10 free bet online on Friday night and a free £10 in shop bet on Saturday. The point of the post is if your not restricted to pennies online with coral but have been banned from their promotions you can still get free bets via the connect card currently £20 a week. I hope this is useful to those that are in a similar situation

New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Tried this last week for the first time in a gubbed account – worked no problem but did not get chance to pick up the free 10 shop bet, will it be there when I place my midweek bet tomorrow or have I lost it?
+0Nate, I think that it’s only valid for the weekend after you’ve placed a midweek bet.
No harm in asking, unless you think it might alert them to your gubbed status.+0going to sign up to connect today, when betting in store, do you have to bet with cash or can you use the balance on your account?
+0I had a go at this earlier in the week. Got crap odds and was too paranoid to check smarkets on my phone. Still a free bet’s a free bet.
Granite – you get them to set up your card and then they’ll ask if you want to deposit. Just give them £20 cash to put on the card and then go and use your card on one of the betting machines. What I hadn’t realised is that the winnings go straight into your account which you can access online, so no need to go back to the bookies unless you want to withdraw it in cash!+0I don’t think you need to deposit if you already have cash in your Coral account.
+0cheers chaps. not much profit coming my way online this week so every bit helps.
+0Corals by me are shut Sat/Sunday!. Does it matter which Corals you use for each store bet?.
+0Get regular offer updates, tip and tricks, big offer alerts and more straight to your inbox.
Nope – I bet in London during the week, and in the country at weekends.
+0arb – You’re right, but it takes a while to properly link to your online account (took a day for me) so if you want to put a bet on straight away you’ll need to put some cash on it.
Unless the bloke in the shop didn’t set mine up properly…+0well it was nice and easy to set up and get the bet on, so recommend anyone who hasn’t yet done this to sign up.
Is it usual that odds in shop are worse than online though? guess it probably is. QL is slightly higher than expected but still think it is a cracking offer.+0I’ve found the odds on the coupons that are on the wall like ‘midweek games’ etc are better than on the connect machines.
+0Hi folks
I can confirm that a £20 mon – Thu on the football, generates, the £5 “bet in shop = £5 to bet online” promo.
As WELL as the “Bet £20 get £20” promo that is advertised on the coupons or on shop posters.
As a sidenote, the £10 online can only be used on the football, however, my local shop manager is happy to accept a horsey bet, which is good, as the in-shop football odds tend to be poor, unlike the online odds which are similar to other bookies.
Hope this helps?
+1guess the promo is still running this week?
+0Yes still running. It’s printed on the midweek coupons.
+0Has the promo changed slightly?. I didn’t need to put a weekend bet on – she just gave me a FB for £10. Crap back odds though – £6.50 extraction on Bournemouth.
I don’t get any other Connect offers sent on-line either. Must you go into the shop to check for them?. eg Beat the Bookie.
