coral froze all my accounts

  • recently coral froze my accounts, i had 51.43 in each of the 2 accounts. using the same device they froze them and wont refund my money. is there anything i can do to get this back, they basically took 100 pound from me?

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

No, you basically broke their T&Cs by having 2 accounts.

You’ve placed the exact same bets in two accounts from the same device?

You’ve probably had a cheap lesson in what not to do if multi accounting.

Coral are a family friendly bookie so it is not against the t & c’s to have multiple accounts in same household.
They would only freeze the accounts if the balance has arisen from offers/promotions and only then in exceptional cases. The solution used to be restriction on the accounts.
Further evidence that they are cracking down on matchbetting.

Bit dramatic to say “closed all my accounts” when really it was “closed both my accounts”

I’ve got 3 Coral accounts, sometimes they put any free bets in one account instead of all 3, so they must know that they are linked to the same address. Then again I don’t leave money in bookie accounts apart from Betdaq and Betfair.

If you are using a phone for the accounts, you need to clear the browsing data before signing in again and use a vpn on your phone to sign in again. Better to safe than sorry or use a laptop, same procedure.

Was under the impression using a mobile through usual mobile connection did not give away any ip address or similar related info

Have used this for the odd different account like bet365 and ladbrokes

Your mobile has an IP address, so using accounts by the same bookie twice will leave a footprint. You can get vpn apps for your phone, I use hide.me for my phone and laptop.
