Coral Verification

  • Hey guys, I feel like I am in a bit of a pickle. I have been winning a lot on Coral (unfortunately) so now all my money is in there. I have requested withdrawal for £500 but now they want verification, which I have sent.

HOWEVER, I just read a review online from a guy in 2013 who said this happened to him, and then when he sent his valid documents they replied saying that his account could not be verified and would be shut. The kicker is this – they gave him the money he deposited back, but voided all his winnings. This would mean I’d lose a lot of money, so I am really worried. Do I hope that they don’t do this to me and take my chances? Or cancel my withdrawals and try and lose it all to the exchange?

Has anyone else had this kind of experience?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

    1. Why did you bet with money you could not withdraw from coral seeing as that money and any subsequent winnings is worthless

    2. If you knew from the stats that it was going to lose why did you bother backing it, why didn’t you just lay the horse

In that case roly24 why are you still on here.
You must be making shed loads of money.
You have clearly been found out and are just making yourself look silly, very silly and stuborn,
You still havent said what your issue with Coral and verification was,

If your knowledge and form/stats is so good prehaps you could help us all by posting a “daily lay of the day”
After 365 days we could see if your system has worked.

That’s fine roly that you can pick losers and lay them for profit. That’s one thing. And that’s great.

The mental block everyone is getting here is that why would you back these horses with your Coral money or any money? Just lay them to maximise your profit.

And why would you advise someone without your knowledge of stats/form etc etc to do the same…. which is clearly very very dangerous.

JDR – corals didn’t accept traditional statements on certain financial institutions I had accounts with. Rest of bookmakers I’ve dealt with didn’t have issues.

roly24 still conveniently dodging the key question…why bother backing the horses on Coral if you know for a fact they’re not gonna win?

Oh dear roly24. You’ve been lucky to get away with making such a silly mistake, perhaps you should quit while you’re still ahead?

They apparently need a physical paper copy, and won’t accept PDFs.

A physical paper copy of which documents.
I know a number of bookies are now asking for a selfie of you holding the relevant documents.

Physical paper copy is slightly backwards but surely only a minor inconvenience. Unless they want it certified by someone before sending.

Am I alone in never being asked to verify my accounts? Do people using paypal get caught with it more often or is it related to suspicions of multi accounting?

I’ve had this a fair bit on smaller bookmakers and casinos. I think the bigger, established places have access to wider sources to verify your ID, for example electoral registers.

Some require a physical copy as I imagine it’s fairly easy to change your address and then use an e-statement.

All my bills and statements are online and I’ve had PDFs rejected at certain places. The solution: print the PDF and take a photo of it, works every time.
