New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

It’s been a loooong time since I was last active on this forum, but I figured I’d pop by during the festival. Made a killing on the first race last year.
Alright Chris? How many B365 horses will you be looking to get on for each race? And will you be laying the win part when you’re backing the horse, leaving the lay part for nearer the off?
+0Anyway my usual tip for if this is your first Cheltenham.
You can do alot of work the night before and you will need to because once racing starts it can be manic, depending on how many offers you are trying to chase. There is great liquidity for this festival and should be able to get close matches/arbs the night before.
Check the terms of the offer, some need to be day of the race for the refunds.
+2Hey fellas.
I’m still going, bad ew’s here and there, Saturday boosts etc. Making some silly mistakes a long the way too. Still have a few accounts going, one William Hill but they don’t offer a lot these days other than extra places on Saturdays. Betfred and Tote still intact from 2015, my longest surviving ones.
SportNation has been a good one too, any one do their Cheltenham bet builder since mid-December? I’m expecting £1000 in free bets from them (£250 per day at the festival) with no reason to doubt they wont honour them. No idea how I will lay off a £250 free bet at long odds though.
Yeah I’ll laying off the win part of my Bet365 enhanced place terms bets (markets for tomorrow already formed) the night before then the places closer to the off.
+1Just checked in see if anything going on for Chelt, unfortunately I’m pretty much limited everywhere. B365 looks decent already e.g. Beware the Bear in 14:50 21/21, shame I’m on max 50p bet! Good luck all!
4.50 A Plus Tard 9/9 B365 too 1/4 odds 5 places
+0Hills going 7 places in the 13.30, should be something worth picking up there
+0I got 3€ + each way on 365 on Beware the Bear. Adds up. You must be really in their bad books if they are only offering you 50p!
+0I seem to be having mixed options, got a few £5+ ew’s (around 9’s) on but no chance when higher odds
+0good luck all, welcome back old timers
I forgot how draining it is. 24hrs till first race and I need to get back to work for a rest now after trawling through cards and bets for my lunch!
+0Got my “bet £50 and get £50 free bet” from b365 too. Anyone know if my qualifying £50 bet can also be used towards their risk-free 4/1 offer?
+0Yes Adio, it counts. Also if it helps anyone, £25 E\W counts as the £50 qualifier
+0Bet365 paying 5 places on the first race at 1/4 odds. That is massive!
At Bet365 do bets get referred to traders if potential winnings are more than say £2k? I think Coral used to be about £1k before it got referred. I’m fully expecting this 365 account to be restricted shortly but want to make it through all 4 days. I don’t want my first bet to get referred and they pull the plug on all the e/w fun on day 1.
+0I got a new 365 account couple days ago but not got the racing offer . Is this normal as it’s a very new account ?
+0That’ll be the reason Boro, probably because it’s too new. I have another account about 2 weeks old which didn’t get the offer.
+0I might be RyanB, although I can’t remember having an account with another username!
Adio, I believe they do count, I’ll be on live chat later to get it in writing
+0Hello chaps. Thought I’d drop by and say hi.
I’ve been pretty much retired off these days, I’ve got a singular Hills account thats limping along but hoping to be able to get a couple of quid on just for fun.
