Gubbed but not restricted at Paddy Power – tips?

So my Paddy Power account got gubbed when I first started Matched Betting in 2016, but just wondering the best way to crash out with it?

Basically just want to extract the most money I can from it, after which I’m sure I’ll be restricted.

They offer plenty of each way value

I’m the other way round, never got gubbed but they don’t like having any real liability with me

they usually have good boosts as well if you are available to lay when they push them out.

I’ve been wondering about how to use Paddy too, since they dealt me my first ever gubbing in December (you’ll always remember your first). I am moderately restricted too – they don’t like me winning much more than £50, occasionally they will let something more substantial through.

They do throw up some ridiculous arbs on U.S. racing. My only uncertainty there is whether the gubbing would prevent me from qualifying for fixed odds….

You can still do the Money Back Special (MBS) offers for 2UP (Football) 14UP (American Football) with a gubbed account.

Yes. Put a test bet on a low odds team if you’re still not sure, and you should get paid out early.

I am slightly wary of hammering Paddy Power now since I know someone who got his Paddy account closed. The sting in the tail was they then closed his Betfair account and he has to use other exchanges now.

I wonder if that is just being paranoid though?

They don’t close Betfair exchange accounts unless you’re doing something dodgy

Thanks for the 2up post above….. been wondering for a few weeks why paddy paid me £70 on a losing freebet. Then reading the above and having a conversation today about when Burnley lost a 2 goal lead in the previous game against utd the penny dropped!

spoke to soon, gubbed as well as my severe restrictions now.
not sure why they gubbed me as could barely place a qualifying bet.

They gave me my last freebet as a goodwill gesture given I got no email. They’ve removed the ‘ring this number to stake more’ message now, but fortunately can stake the freebets in partial amounts…. took me 8 bets to get through my £10!!

Was wondering about this too as I’m gubbed and restricted with them. Can get £2 on their football price boosts and generally around £10 each way. The extra place offers are still useful especially the golf ones so reluctant to arb too much on this account although I do see a fair few. And does anyone know if they do still pay up on 2ups with a gubbed account?
