Ladbrokes withdrawal problem

  • Has any of you had any problems with withdrawing money from your Ladbrokes account? I have tried a few times now to withdraw to my Paypal account and it won’t let me. It comes up with a red message on the top saying “would you like to continue with your withdrawal request?” and that’s about it. I only got Paypal as a payment method and I used it before to top up and withdraw. Just strange how it won’t let me do it now.

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Same problem last week, logged out logged back in again didn’t make any difference. Transfered balance to games account and withdrew from there, worked.

anyone know how long they take to process back to paypal? first time I’ve used that method of payment with them and seems very slow compared to other bookies.

Mine took about 6 hours to complete but I admit they are not the best with that method and sometimes it takes twice that long. Bet365 is similar and takes ages for me to transfer money back to Paypal.

I had this exact problem on Wednesday and Thursday. Haven’t tried to withdraw again since then.

However, imagine my pain when I went to place £25 on a Channel 4 race today and got hit with a staking restriction?!? No email re gubbing of any kind, so not sure if that’s it for me or whether I can leave the account alone for a while and maybe see he restriction removed?

Anyone who has been ‘properly’ gubbed by Ladbrokes able to advise?

well I still haven’t heard anything and its been well over 24 hours now. I wouldn’t usually be worried if it was to a bank account, but I withdrew from two other bookies at the same time and one was instant and the other was overnight.
Hopefully they are running behind because of chelts and not for gubby purposes!

Same boat as you tony. No email. Just noticed reduced stakes trying to put a bet on.

The guy on chat said they review the account in 2-3 months and might lift the retstriction. I haven’t believed him and have emptied account and deleted app.

What have your stakes been restricted to?

I had the same problem last Thursday. I transferred what I wanted to withdraw to my games account and the withdrawal went through no problem.

Just got an email yesterday gubbing me from all bonuses and boosts. I was pretty surprised to get gubbed given I’ve had the account for about 5 years and done plenty of mug bets. I placed bets on 6 horses at Cheltenham 3 of which won and 1 qualified for a second place free bet.

I don’t really think there is any real pattern for gubbings. They just happen at random. You can mug bet as much as you want and you will still get gubbed at some point. God knows what sort of techniques they use in their trading section. Some of gubbings I heard of don’t really make any sense. Look at my example I got gubbed with BetBright on my 1st free bet I received. They have restricted my stake to £1 so had to place 30x £1 bets and I couldn’t bet the same event so I just punted them and luckily just got back my qualifying loses back on one of these bets.
I think that bookies will just carry on with gubbings. Especially now when they got hit with £60 million of loses over Cheltenham and branded this years festival thd worst ever for them. They have got to recoup their loses somewhere so will just limit the bonuses they give away.
Not sure but I think they are about to be hit by increased tax this year. Of what I remember the government was planning something on their online incomes.
This all unfortunately for us will not do any good to matched betting industry if I can call it this way.
