I’m new to betting exchanges but have placed plenty of bets in my life.Whereas Iv had a few nice wins its the bookies who are up so be nice to get some payback lol
What I’d like to know is there a risk that you bet on something but when you lay no one takes the bet and your left exposed?
Sorry if I’m bein think here

New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Think Iv got it.. As long as the liquidity is there it’s gonna be matched immediately?
+0Precisely – as long as there’s enough liquidity for your bet at the current odds then it will be matched immediately
+0Cheers for confirming pal
+0That’s not to say you have to take the lay price available at any given time. If you are new to laying you might want to, but also remember that you can always place a lay bet at lower odds than current.
There can be a lot of variables, like the sport you are betting on, liquidity and volatility of the particular market therein and the time until the event starts (e.g. a horse race at the post v a footy match 2 days away), but it’s something to bear in mind.
