Limiting free bet loss
-
Placed the Skybet free £25 on race 1 and it lost giving me a free £25 bet. I’m trying to place and lay this with the smallest loss, can’t get my head round how to put it into the calculator. If I put it at SNR I’ll look to guarantee £17 for example but that’d be a £8 loss.
Whats the best way to play this to limit the loss ?
Thanks.

New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

I usually stick mine on a footie price boost, look for the yellow arrows.
for example, last night Man U 2-0 was boosted to 15 with a lay of 15.5 at smarkets. £22.16 profit.
Or you could put it on the Saturday acca if you can (I’m limited on that and only that for some reason) betfair usually put up a market and can be lower than the odds.
Of course, the longer the odds the more float you need, but you should be looking for a back/lay match about 7 and above.
Good luck+0Unless you go into insanely high odds, you’ll always lose a few quid on your free bet. Hundreds of quids worth of liability isn’t worth it for an extra 2 or 3 quid.
Use you freebie on odds that are high enough, say 6.00 and onwards and try to get the back and lay as close as possible.
