Losing money with bookies
-
Having a bit of a problem at the ministry in that no matter what I seem to back it wins.
Great news for a normal punter however my exchanges are taking a real hit.
Has anyone got any tips for losing money quickly with the bookies?+0January 6, 2017 at 7:48 pm

New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Yeah stop laying them. This will inevitably mean your bookie bets will start losing
+0Without doubt.
Tried long odds, probably is I make a dent then one wins about 15/1 and I’m back where I started.
Tried bigger stakes on favs but they all seemed to win.
Would have made a fortune without laying.+0I’m no expert at all but I think a lot of short priced ones lose on the all weather. I’ve no stats for it though. Maybe someone like fog would know. Two odds on shots got beat at wolves tonight but another won.
+0Not easily or we’d all be doing it, and certainly not anything as simple as short priced favourites on the all weather or you’d just have an edge to purely lay.
I’ve toyed with a few things-
A lay tipster (couple if Google it), but it’s slow and long
Martingale approach on favourites. Mixed success but at least of you hit a winning streak at bookies you have a muggy history prior to withdrawal
Laying poor value sports bets. Obviously you need a feel for value, and as with my opening point if you could hit these properly then you could just purely trade/layRecently rather than the above I’ve just been lumping a few bigger bets with zero or v minimal ql’s on to look like a mug then accepting I’ll have to withdraw sometimes
+0anything I greedily underlay instead of guaranteeing profit never comes anywhere near the front!
+0I know we all tend to worry that if we withdraw from the bookies it might cause someone there to take a look at our account, but Mugs withdraw all the time so I think if you have had several big wins, I don’t see why you shouldn’t withdraw.
Obviously its best if you can lose at the bookies and win at the exchange, but as others have posted there is no way to guarantee this, if there was we would all be loaded.
+0Back long odds on shots for high stakes.
You only need a small amount in exchange and one loser transfers all the money.
