Mad Few Days!

  • With the Ryder cup, prem footy and the odd horse race I have made £170 quid since Friday and have £105 free bets to convert.

I have a £2000 float, at what point I had £20 in my current account and a fiver available in Smarkets! Anyway, back to real life today!

Hope you all had a similar weekend.

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

With majority of my bookies closed I still managed to make over £160-170 since Friday. It is worth mentioning that 95% the profit came from horses, not a cent from footy. The rest was Ryder and some freebet. Wish every weekend was like this one.

    Keep it up!

Terrible weekend. £75 in free bets of which I extracted £23-24 out of each but that was it.

Sunday was a massive let down with the racing.

I had a miserable weekend. I find my interest is dipping. These days I have to do more work for less reward and its hard to see the point.

    Doing a lot of acca’s.

Didn’t bother with any golf offers, made much more by not having money tied up. Sharbing and Shamatchbetting is where the money is at.

    Same here Fog…..

Accas keeping the money flowing but lots of work, have you seen the new Acca offer at Sportingbet btw? Detail as follows:

Place a 5-Fold (or more) football accumulator, and if just one selection lets you down we will refund your stake as a free bet, up to £25.
Any team, any league, any price. No minimum odds!
Applies to ALL pre-match and in:play football bets.
    Minimum qualifying stake £5.
Applies to straight Win-Draw-Win accas (90 mins only), with 5 or more selections.
Every selection in the bet must settle on the same day for the bet to qualify.

Final point and squiffy odds are the only downsides. Out of interest, who you Acca betting with at the moment?

Betvictor – terms are okay but not great that min odds are 1/4 per leg. But Betvictor are the best odds and do a promise promise thing on their accas so you know you are getting value.

Betstars nfl – they used to have football acca insurance but replaced with NFL. When basketball and hockey start up again then I reckon this could be a good earner.

Stan James – no min odds on Stan James but can only do one acca per week and need to include one prem match.

In shop with paddy – no min odds in shop and sometimes with the coupons you are getting out of date prices which give you a boost.

Also betmclean might be worth checking out and bar-one in shop.

I’ll check out sportingbet. Never bothered with them before so a little sign up bonus there for me I presume.

Only problem with accas is trying to lay them off or finding sequential matches. I’m at the point that I have watched my exchange drain month after month after month. So not picky about laying everything these days.

Sportingbet odds are indeed trash but I hit them every weekend on money back 2nd. They choose four races every Saturday but they are decent chances and you can get some tight back and lays early on (9-10am). I’ve had £200 in free bets from them over the past month.

did the forum ever get a working acca spreadsheet? or what’s everyone using? I never really bother with them, put off by the separate lays so far apart I know I’d forget…

Trying a different approach at the moment which is working well, put it on here a while back and had more success since. It removes most of the hassle of sequential lays and has a healthy return with minimal loss.

Chose five matches, running sequentially and all over minimum odds. First match I need to lose, so choose high odds which have a good close match on the exchange (can be found easily on OddsMonkey etc). The next four matches to have as low odds as possible, usually choose popular leagues to ensure liquidity.

I then fully lay the first match, bearing in mind I expect it to lose and if it does I have my stake back. I can then let the rest of the matches run their course, hoping for four wins and then getting a free bet for very little effort.

In the event of the first match winning, I then sequentially lay the rest of the matches until the Acca fully wins or one of the matches loses and I then finish the acca.

Obviously there are some risks associated to the first match winning and then odds drifting on the other four matches, but in my experience the odds on the big teams tend to shorten closer to the event.

Worth a shot if you want to try a method which is less time consuming.

Fog can you go lower than 1/5 in paddy shops? Not tried it but automatically assumed it would be the same terms as online. If you did get a free bet credited with one with lower odds I’d be interested to know!

Hi I’ve been wanting to get into this for a while but effort to reward seems high…so liking subs idea.

Any chance someone or a group could detail the current online or in shop offers here above what fog mentions? Also would u recommend looking at internationals this week or wait for premier league next week?

Having had a quick trawl, here are some of the online Acca offers at the moment.

    188bet £50 4 selections min odds 1.70
willhill £50 6 selections no min odds
ladbrokes £25 5 selections ‘Use Acca coupon’
    jenningsbet £50 5 selections min odds 1.20
    betvictor £25 5 selections min odds 1.25
paddy power £50 5 selections min odds 1.20
bet vernons £50 6 selections combined odds of 6.0
betfred £25 6 selections no min odds
    138 £38 6 selections no min odds
Check the T&Cs just to make sure they have not been updated since I pulled this together.

As a point to note, the Bet Vernons offer is a great candidate for my method outlined above.

Beesty. Yes definitely. As long as it is on one of the coupons with “Acca Insurance” on the top corner. I just picked up a refund last week I always put teams like Real, Bayern, Celtic, Rangers, PSG, Real, Barcelona, Man City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Man Utd etc. My max odds per leg is sometimes about 1/5 never mind min odds!

There are only so many matches on the coupons though but it helps that its all the popular games and makes it easier and quicker to scan and popular games always have great liquidity on the exchange.

matchedem. I’ll be looking at internationals today. In one sense they will be great because a lot of short odds. In another sense I don’t expect the exchange prices to be as tight as they usually are with the top european league games.

Cross reference the below thread as well. I would add betmclean there for your method too, similar to bet vernons terms except more generous.
