The media is already reporting that Hiddink will be appointed as interim manager until the end of the season…so I guess it is a matter of time until the official site releases the news.

I told them that I placed the bet via an affiliate and the terms were not visible and later when I checked them out I did not feel comfortable about them. Also I took Dashbet’s advice and told them that I am really tight with my budget and Christmas is coming!
I also believe that the girl I spoke to is a kind-hearted person.

+0Oh my god. 4th try and my bet was finally voided! I finally found someone kindhearted in live chat. Thank you for the affiliate tip Kir! I also managed to get a free bet of £2 from the 3rd live chat person as a gesture of good will although she did not void my bet. So a £2 profit from this nightmare!

I just get know it alls who state the terms and conditions regardless of what I say and state bet will stand, £30 down the pan.

What’s the panic? It’s not money down the pan at all. I understand Will Hill’s terms are slightly different, but their odds are now 1.11 for Hiddink. They will pay out when Chelsea announce… They’re not trying to deceive anyone. Although, by the way some people have acted on this thread calling people “dickheads”, I sort of hope they don’t pay out.

No Panic, but it’s turned into a bet rather than a matched bet (I cashed out my lay as it was possible that both the bet and the lay could lose.). WH will only pay out if they announce that the new manager has more than a year contract. I would expect them to announce Hiddink till the end of the season then re-evaluate their options and possibly bring in the target they would like, hence WH bet would be a loss. If Hiddink is appointed as interim, the bet will stay open until a permanent announcement has been made. So the “down the pan” is a bit over the top but it’s money that wont be usable for the foreseeable future win or lose unless Hiddink is given a full contract.
I don’t believe I referred to anybody being a “dickhead” and didn’t think I was overly negative, mistakes are made and I made one here by jumping in feet first before comparing the terms of the bet compared to that of the lay.
