Mug Bets
-
I’ve been a little lame at the mug betting and as suck been gubbed a few times.
When I’m looking at matched odds, there’s a few occasions you can make a couple of quid just off the different odds between bet & lay. As I’m not in an offer would this count as a mug – and is it the actual way to do the mugging ?
Thanks.

New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

They can track this as arbing, so I wouldn’t recommend. Personally I’d go for large markets, such as the PSG-Chelsea match or where a donkey is running at huge favs. (Ie Black Hercules a few days ago @ 1.4)
Obviously you take the hit on quali losses, but you’re more likely to stand out as a mug by going for the likes of the above. At least that’s my theory.
+0Cheers for that, I’ll return to taking a little hit from the mugs.
Hoping my current one doesn’t a) win, b) get me booted.
+0Dont think it makes any difference whatsoever.
My son had a PP account. All he did was mug betting – horses at large odds with small stakes,Accas on footy and betting on footy in the pub, next goalscorer etc.
Looking at his account would seem an ideal customer, but still got excluded from the football free offers although he never did them.+0Thats cause everyone got banned from that to be honest..
