Paddy Power Price FA Cup
-
Paddy currently have Swansea, Chelsea and Spurs to win at 5.5. Max bet 20. All kick off one after another and so good lay opportunity to extract some value here.
I’m actually quite confident this has a good chance of coming off which of course meant we should definately stick to laying it because I can’t pick an apple off a tree never mind a winning treble.
Haven’t done the sums yet but “regular” value seems to be around 4.3 on other sites so a nice boost.
Of course you can probably lay the treble on betfair also but I don’t think you’d get quite as good odds.

New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

for maximum profit just cover your £10….so stake enough to cover the £10 and your 2% or 5% commission depending what exchange you use
+0“Regular” value as you call it in the OP from other bookies doesn’t tell us much, need to compare to the exchages which shows this is very marginal for profit if laying each leg in turn.
Likewise I’m surprised by Swanseas long odds here but I do question the logic of those backing the acca and laying Chelsea/Spurs if Swansea win – you are essentially having a £20 punt on Swansea winning @2.75
+0You just said yourself your surprised by Swansea’s long odds? Therefore why not have a go? im happy to risk £20 its a small blip in my profits so why not make my Sunday slightly more exciting!
+01-0 Swansea pure class goal. Might lay them now to cover my stake.
+0RyanB like he said if you don’t lay swansea and then do lay the others, you may as well have just bet on swansea @ 2.75.
+0Absolutely there is no harm in it, a small wager is a nice break from tireless matched betting. All the time I’m surprised by how high odds are on certain things, but that doesn’t mean i should back them, rather it just means I likely have little knowledge of the market.
My point was just if the odds were 2.75 in the first place I doubt you would have stuck £20 on it, but doesn’t matter now as your bet is winning!
+0Yeah I know what you mean its weird how the mind works…as I wouldn’t just put £20 on Swansea, not sure where the odds of 2.75 was i didnt see them that high but still….but then im considering laying off Tottenham/Chelsea which probably ends up less profit…who knows what im doing lets hope it turns out well in the end haha! Then again if Swansea win or draw i get £50 bonus from netbet as I lost £5 qualifying so thatll make up if I fuck something up!
+0Did anyone see that goal though? shows the difference in quality!
+0No I’m sitting outside Bloomfield Road waiting for the Carlisle game!!!
+0Seems like the bookies knows something we didnt hey!!
+0Well there’s a spanner in the works. Laid off after the goal though so my original stake is covered.
Let’s hope for a Swansea comeback, this is what the FA Cup is all about!
+0Makes you wonder doesnt it!!
+03-1 haha I guess the bookies knew something we didn’t!!
+0Pleased I was able to lay after Swansea scored so about £4 profit for me.
+03-2 not over yet!
