Shots on target. Bet boosts

Hi, fairly new to MB but been doing odds boosts for a while. However think ive made an error and I dont understand where I went wrong 😕
I placed £10 on the Sportingbet offer which was
Erling Haland to score 2 or more goals at 3.75
Layed Erling Haland 1.5 shots on Target on Matchbook at 1.77
I thought it was too good to be true, but baffled as to what ive done wrong.
Could anyone kindly help

You’re backing Scoring Goals on the bookmaker but Shots On Target at the exchange, this won’t work for guaranteed profit, you have to back and lay the exact same things.

For example, if Haland only scored one goal or less the entire game your back bet will have lost, and if in the same game he had 2 or more (1.5) shots on target BOTH bets will lose and you’ll tank a loss.

having a shot on target can’t be bet against an actual goal as SOT can be saved by the keeper.

It’s an understandable mistake to make in the moment, but yeah keep in mind if odds seem true good to be true they usually are.
