Star Sports and LeoVegas welcome offers
-
Hi, does anyone know if there’s a way to guarantee a profit from these?
Leo is bet up to £100 on odds of 2.0 or more, if it wins they double your winnings up to £100.
Star sports is the same but if you win you get a free up to £50 bet.
So is there a way to bet on something at evens and lay off in order to make some cash either way?

New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Hi @sam4145.
For the LeoVegas offer, it’s a 100% profit boost, so you can just double your fractional odds when entering your back odds into the calculator. For example, if your back odds are 5/1 (6.00), your doubled odds would be 10/1 (11.00). The higher the odds, the more profit you’ll make, but keep in mind that the maximum boost you can receive is £100.
For the Star Sports offer, I would just treat it as a speculative offer. Place a £50 qualifying bet and hope the trigger comes in for a £50 matched free bet. The trigger changes each week so you can wait for one that you fancy will come in.
I hope that helps!
+0Thanks Matt, I hadn’t thought of that (obviously!) The only downside with it is how much liability and liquidity are needed to make a decent amount of money from the offer, but definitely one that’s worth doing.
I’ll keep an eye on Star sports. But could you not over lay the bet, so you profit on the lay side if it wins, but if it loses you’ll profit from using the free £50 bet? Obviously you’d have to work out what a reasonable amount to overlay would be so you can make money either way, but wouldn’t that be possible?
+0It’s a trigger bet offer Sam, so you would only get the matched free bet if the trigger occurs. Overlaying would leave you exposed to a greater potential qualifying loss with no guarantees of a free bet.
The only way you can lock in a profit is by laying the trigger, but unfortunately the Star Sports triggers are usually pretty obscure and not layable. For example, this week’s offer is a matched free bet if there’s a goal in the first 10 minutes of Arsenal v Man Utd, which isn’t layable.
+0The welcome offer for Star Sports seems to link to the previous England match?
Anyway, they seem to have some very enticing offers if you have the funds, with £250 on a £500 bet as mentioned under reload offers. But, looking at Reviews on Trustpilot, they don’t seem very reliable? Are they trusted? Talk of blocking accounts and donating your balance to charity is very worrying. https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/starsportsbet.co.uk
Thanks
