This site seems to be dying

  • Just logged in here in my lunch hour and very little to see on here.

Where are all the offers and enthusiasm from you guys.

Is it because the footy season is all but over or other reasons.

Prehaps those who warned the euphoria wouldnt last were right all along.

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Id guess a lot of the more regular contributors are either banned from sites with offers on or are sick to death with clever clogs posters so prob dont bother posting anything anymore. Plus there probably arent that many offers around atm.

It definitely is dying. The gubbings being the biggest problem, but even with access to all bookies there just aren’t that many offers.

When I started this back in November you could guarantee almost £50 a week from Paddy Power in play free bets alone. Used to be very hectic back then

I’ve lost enthusiasm now. I still haven’t joined some of the bookies like 188bet but I can’t even be bothered with the hassle to be honest. Betstars was the latest I joined but not much going on with them.

Also my work got a new firewall meaning no more bookie websites, oddsmonkey etc. meaning I have to do everything on my phone which is annoying.

Re-iterate pickle and fogs points regarding the clever clog posters etc

Personally I’ve been gubbed a lot recently so struggling to get as motivated….bookies got jealous of how good I was at betting I guess

No Chris + No Ryan = 50% less posts across the site 😉

Agree with clever clogs comments also, as well as a growing amount of “I’ve found the next big thing, but won’t share it with any of you” oneupmanship that seems to be rife.

This started out as a great wee community where offers were shared happily, but of late people seem resentful that others are sharing the wee gems that they have been quietly pillaging for ages and deliberately keeping to themselves (e.g. Unibet’s regular arbs, Dafabet’s footy boosts…) Every man for himself seems to be the new MO

Gubbings and lack of offers main reasons I think. Perhaps when Euros start some good offers will appear, lets hope so anyway.

Agree to all above, this week gubbed by betbright and last week laddies. Soon will be following Ryan and Chris and just keep an eye out for the bet365 in play offers. As said before all this potential profit offers Matt Blogs are a bit much, i assume he’s doing it to keep his Ad sales click able links up

At least Matt has kept this site free , you’ve got to take your hat off to him for that. Especially in this day and age. If you think bookmakers frown on us they must hate the sites that whore out their offers.
Also there’s so many helpful and knowledgeable people on here so I would ignore the trolls and open an accountant for your old man or another trusted family member and pace yourself when doing the offers.

Fewer worthwhile offers further compounded by being gubbed at most bookies anyway.

Agree on motivation. For me it’s no longer worth the effort but I’m content that I made hay while the sun shone. And now the sun is actually shining outside I’d rather be doing other things with my time.

Just out of interest are there many of us here who have been doing this for years? I’ve only been MBing since like October last year, and I agree the offers are less now than I’ve ever known but I personally expected that after a Cheltenham, premier league season and grand national etc. Ive only ever got majorly involved in football predominately and major horse events. So as it’s the end of season and after Cheltenham and grand national I’m not really surprised and fully expected the offers to dry up ready for euros and start of the new season in August.

Its the lack of horse racing MBS thats the problem at the moment.
MBS to favourite is not a great opportunity.
Although not ab out and out matchbetter myself the MBS has certainly helped me in the past.
Although it bugs me to say it,as he kept ramming it down people’s throats, it looks like Patrick knew what he was talking about.Looks like a few on here owe him a big apology, but there again it looks like a lot of those have dissappeared.

Owe him a big apology for what?. He didn’t say anything that wasn’t obviously gonna happen. Patrick was upset that too many people were getting in on his little secret. I dont blame him if his money has dried up but no one has any more right to make a few quid than anyone else. If Patrick has been doing it for years he’ll have made a decent wedge.

I just meant that some on here dismissed any suggestion that the gravy train wouldnt last forever.

I think everyone knew it would as the restrictions started rolling in. There’s only Matt who doesn’t seem to get banned from anywhere 😉

Mr crisp, I remember you from a few months back – you’re a troll.
    Somebody’s second account, Patrick maybe?

Also racing demon, let us know when you’re planning to pull your head out of Patrick’s arse, yeah? There’s a good boy

We are all aware that it’s not as good as it has been, and it might never be again. But if it’s the choice of a free £250 a month as opposed to a free £600 a month, it’s still better than nothing
