UNIBET ERROR ??

  • me and my friend have been given an email randomly saying we still had money in our unibet account. I had 606.03 and he had 1200 just sat there.. we have withdrawn the money but surely this is an error? anyone else had the same thing happen to them?

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

How very noble of you. If it’s not your money then you’re basically stealing.

Wouldn’t call it stealing if all he’s done is withdraw money from THEIR own accounts.

I have the same, got £2013 in my account and not betted with them in months- Only was aware after they emailed me saying I had cash left in it. The deposit description is : Premium – premium crm deposit

Unsure whether to take it out incase it’s an error and I can keep it, or leave it as i’m sure they will claim it back anyways…

Maybe a good idea would be to bet with it?

    Any advice would be useful!

LOL THEIR accounts indeed but not THEIR money! Must be difficult to understand that. Any decent person would ask Unibet for clarification but then honesty is lacking from lots of people nowadays.

It’s THEIR choice to decide what to do though as well!! Sounds like you’re a bit gutted it wasn’t you’re own account! LOL

I agree with you Nick. It would be a nice surprise to receive such an email telling me there was cash in my account and then find a nice sum of a couple hundred quid.

We are all quick to jump and moan when bookies gubbed our accounts and restrict our stakes.

Should do the honorable thing and inform them.

You really are clueless. If it’s an error they will have to give it back and believe me I’m not that desperate or needy to hope to find random amounts of money in my betting accounts, bank accounts, in the street or down the back of my sofa. Now jog on and carry on with your sorry little life.

You’re getting yourself so worked up at the fact that no money went into you’re account AHA. Probs won’t see it anyway so calm down

Just stating facts and perfectly calm here. As I said, jog on and try and impart your crap advice elsewhere.

I’ve got to side with nick2punt here. For example, if money is incorrectly deposited into your bank account, then the money is not yours (i.e. the bank can retrieve the money should you withdraw it).

Ease up nick there just asking a question, Did either of you ever play high stakes poker, it could be a refund from someone being found out to be a cheat, or a slot which was later found to be fixed/broken.

This could be related to the problems they had in June with withdrawals. I made a withdrawal of £160 and the money went in to my account. They then emailed me saying there was an error and that the withdrawal couldnt be processed so had been put back in to my Unibet account. I withdrew it again and two payments of £160 went in to my account.

A few weeks later they emailed acknowledging the mistake but also clearly stated they would be making no effort to retrieve the duplicated payment. I made thread on here about it, seems others got double payments too.
