Using a VPN
-
Right been gubbed from most the major bookies now but opened a legit account with Paddy for my brother at his address and using his card.
He’s told me to manage it for him as he has no clue where to start with matched betting. Issue is that I can’t always be at his address to place the bets so was thinking of using a vpn at home. Can bookies detect the use of vpn’s and has anyone tried this and succeeded?+0March 17, 2016 at 9:11 pm

New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

While you could potentially detect someone using a vpn by looking at the number of hops, it’s doubtful anyone would bother.
Anyway, if he’s happy to leave his computer on, remote desktop (realvnc/logmein) is a slightly more foolproof option perhaps.
+0Been using for over 4 months.
Only had problems with 365 and Stars.
Might be worth making sure you have a private IP. If there happens to be somebody with the same idea as you, and they’re on the same server, it could mean bye-bye account.
+0Just thought of something else. How about using mobile data to place the bets?
