Using IPad to bet

  • I’m aware that most bookmakers use software that get put onto your PC through the cookies etc to track the sites you use. Is this the same for IPads too? Also if I have multiple accounts (under family members at different addresses) can I use the same iPad to place bets provided I swap the sims around (I currently have 3 PAYG mobile data sins) or will they pick up I’m using the same iPad?

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

I’m not at all familiar with Mac products, or whether these are just for desktops rather than ipads, but I’ve seen a couple of posts about:

    (about halfway down)

(there’s a post in the comments with instructions for Mac.)

I’ve got no idea if they work though, as I say I’ve never used any apple gear

Good luck! – and it would be useful to others if you post back to say if these do/don’t work! Cheers

Re spying software – not sure, google can probably help you there though.

In terms of your second question, I think each device has a unique ID number – it is just a question of whether the bookie can gather that data when you are browsing their site. To be safe I would use one device per account where you have multiple accounts with the same bookie. If this means having to buy a new phone, tablet, etc… then it will pay for itself in no time anyway tbh.

Avoid apps where possible, as I would imagine that any app developer can access details of WHO (i.e. which Apple ID user) is using their software. Most bookie sites open in “mobile” mode anyway when you use an iPad (from memory).

I agree with the app thing, I have an android and after having trouble signing in to w hill, in desperation I signed into the racing post app which gives access to hills and Ladbrokes. Works great, gubbed by both two days later!
