VPN holiday BBOBB (bookies list)

  • Ok guys

I’ve read through the topic areas / VPN search and some good information out there. Thanks guys. 👍👍👍
BBOBB seems to be particularly informative in the area 👍👍👍

Have a good grasp of this and how to do it.
VPN master (ip changes each time which is vital)

    Working through VPN…

    Ladbrokes
    Leo Vegas
    Sky
    188

    Not working…
    Bfsb
    Netbet
    Bet365

Any other information, tricks, bookies for either list would be welcome.

    Regards

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

I’m not sure what you’re asking here. I’ve tried and gave up trying to access sites while on holiday… I decided just take to a break form it.

I used SaferVPN and noticed that some bookies would work sometimes and not others depending which IP I was allocated, I suspect that when a bookie determines that an IP is from a VPN they will but a block on it.

I used to use a different IP for different accounts but now I just don’t bother. I don’t tend to run multiple accounts for a site at the same time anyway. I have a couple at WH right now and change between them on the same laptop, depending on where my money is.

I had a couple of Laddies accounts that I was running simaltaneously on the dame device. One got gubbed (after hitting a massive priced winner) the other is still going.

Fanny about with VPNs if you want but IMO it’s just fannying about for the sake of things. The guys in the IT dept are not looking at logs to see what accounts are accessing their site from the same IP.
    You ever use free Wifi?
Are you worried that someone in the same pub as you is putting a tenner on the football on his Sky account?

I have Twitter (in my real name so keeping it private) but don’t Tweet much and don’t discuss this on it. I would’t want people who know me to know how much time I actually spend doing this (rather than working).

I’ve also got a fake account for asking for YourOdds etc or asking about offers but it isn’t worth following.

    I’m currently using TunnelBear, SaferVPN.

    I have no issues with:
    Boylesports
    Coral
    188
    Unibet
    Betvictor
    Betsafe
    Paddypower
    Betway
    Ladbrokes
    MrGreen
    Williamhill

    I can’t access:
    Bet365
    Skybet

    I have occasional issues with:
    Betstars
    Betfred

Betfair and smarkets – no VPN needed.

I don’t run multi accounts so bear that in mind.

Personal recommendation for betting from abroad…

    1. Where possible download the bookies’ apps on your phone while in the UK

    2. Make sure Location services are “enabled” when doing the instal

    3. Login to the app and with you credentials and make sure you enable the remember me/keep me logged in option – you should still be in the UK when doing this and not connected to a VPN.

    4. Before leaving the UK you need to disable location services on your phone

    5. Go on holiday

    6. Connect to the VPN before opening the desired bookie app

    7. Open bookie app – should be no issue.

You can do the same using the mobile site, but occasionally I get ” you appear to be trying to access our site from a country outside of blah blah”

Anyway, should all work fine and dandy!

Worth noting that Smarkets doesn’t like you accessing through a VPN, and continuousy kicks you out, and won’t let you deposit money while connected to a VPN. So if you have only one device, this makes laying your bets off a right hassle as you have to disconnect your VPN, and the odds have probably moved by the time you’ve logged in again and got round to laying your bet off. So use another phone for running smarkets 🙂

    Hope it helps. Happy holidays!

While I was in France earlier this year I found that I could access most of the major bookies by using my mobile network and by simply spoofing my GPS location to England (many free apps). Not sure if this works in other EU countires. Was in a pretty remote area though and signal wasn’t the greatest so just took the week off and had a few small punts on the WC.

While I was in Devon and had jackpoo signal, the Wi-Fi that was available blocked gambling sites, went via VPN and could not get on Hills or Laddies. Didn’t try bet365 as I know they block all VPNs.

Currently in Prague and confirm i can access pretty much every website including bet365 but it depends on the IP address i am allocated from my VPN.

The only site i have had zero access too is Bet Victor.

Betfred works about 50% of the time and Bwin/sporting bet do a browser check and make me fill a verification box, but i do gain access, also the same on Grosvenor sport, have to verify each time but works.

All the main ones i can think of have worked, by main ones i mean the ones with UK shops.

However mobile apps don’t work, i have to use the mobile sites as the apps are constantly saying my location is wrong.

But overall it’s been pretty straightforward.

Which VPN service are you using @dan42 ? I can’t get access to bet365 and I’ve tried pretty much everything, same with Skybet

for Betvictor, you can download a GPS spoofer for free from the app store for both online site and app usage, drop a pin in the app somewhere in the UK and it works a treat for me when combined with a VPN.
