Will Hill 24,536 free bets on Day 1

Just got a notification from Will Hill that they paid out 24,536 free bets on money back 2nd on Day 1 of Cheltenham.
Doesn’t strike me as a lot, especially with Min coming 2nd.
If every matched better got on average 1 free bet off Will yesterday then that would cap the number of active matched betters at 24,536. And surely much much much less as normal mug betters would have gotten free bets too, especially as I say with Min coming 2nd.
