How do I see what stakes I’m limited to?
+0My first major gubbing. I remember seeing my FBs referred to traders for approval last week as well and I’ve been doing the hi5 with no problems even today. Had 500 at 1.50 horse accepted today?
+0Limited stakes at WH does not necessarily mean gubbing… I seem to be limited to “winning” about £350 on football. At the weekend I was only allowed £60 on a 2.62 BTTS but later that day I got £90 on a 3.5 on the same match (result and BTTS).
You still get the FBs when you hit, you just have to take a lower return on them. I now tend to lay about 50% of my FBs and hope they win (picking horses around 5 with a close match).
+0Mikey, staking £500 will get you thrown out sharpish.
If you are just beginning, here is my advice to try and maintain your accounts. I’ve been doing this for years and have made many mistakes at the start that I’ve learned from and still that may not protect your accounts.1) Horses are the quickest way to get restricted and lose free bets or access to boosts on other sports. The big firms don’t want horse punters.
2) Stake small for the long haul. Big bets (like your £500) may be accepted but you are standing out and no joe punter bets that amount online. I lost SkyBet years ago by backing £100 on Champagne Fever at evs. This meant I’ve lost their weekly treble boost forever.
3) don’t bet every day with the same books and leave early week alone. Most of my restrictions were because I was an enthusiastic beginner, betting every race on Monday etc.
4) Don’t just do the boosts……it marks you as a smart punter.
5) open as many accounts as you can so to spread your activity but beware that some are linked and you need to be aware as they will all restrict you at once (Unibet, 888, 32Red), (Fred/Totesport)

What a load of tosh!
1) Horse racing forms most of the offers and free bets around. In fact its been 70% of my massive profits from the last year or so!
2) If you only bet on the sky bet weekly treble boost then you would also lose that in a matter of months if not weeks!
3) Slightly true but basically you will find that bookies review accounts every few months and gub. If you have left the first half of the week off then you have left half of the profits too!
4) He isn’t just doing boosts he’s doing horse bets!
5) 888 / Unibet / 32red all use the same platform for horse odds etc but they are not the same company and won’t restrict you at once as that would be illegal!mikey my pup you will probably find you are more likely to get decent bets on just before the race (say within 30 mins of the off) or on saturdays. You are doing well if its your first gubbing tho. 1 peace of advice from me, take the bookies for all they are worth before they get round to reviewing and banning you. Or u can take £1 /week off each bookie for the rest of your life ala the OP LOLLIPOP!

matchedem my account was closed by titan bet when I havent used them for months, all because of my activity on winner. so I don’t think it’s illegal. if it is let me know why and I’ll live stream my court case 😉

matchedem is a legend in his own head. The rest of us tolerate him because he is harmless. We sympathise with him because a bunch of sick and over the top forumites got really horrible and nasty with him. His humour is hit and miss but his heart is always in the right place.
My advice is listen to everyone but do your own research.
+0Another day without a BOOM in William Hill, it’s like Cheltenham (which was tragic for me) ruined everything. Before that I was around 100 quid up from the hi5 everyday. Now every 2 days there’s a dry day.
+0EW arbing is really calling for me. Gonna try it out with small stakes at the beginning then when I know what I’m doing gonna up my game and do it until I’ve killed every account. Then my other 2 accounts are gonna come in place. Then when they’re dead as well, I’ll use the emergency one. If all goes right, I’ll have no accounts come September but around 20k up. Here’s hoping.
