New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Did you get the boosts FoG?
Since Hills updated their app, I get all their offers as notifications on my old gubbed account which is auto logged in to my phone. These include bet boost on football, racing and golf.
However, I never get them so thinking the same has happened to you. Hope not though.
+0No I never got it Chris. First time I got the message in my inbox so I was hopeful.
I will probably go on chat and see what they do. I understand not being able to do their normal advertised offers but when they send it to you personally then they should honour it I think.
+0I am sure I read somewhere on here that hills still let you use the daily boosts even if you are gubbed?
+0Depends to what extent you’re gubbed bookie. One of my accounts is fully gubbed, no bet boost etc but I can get big stakes on big priced each way horses.
Another account is gubbed from offers but has bet boost with limited stakes.
No point FoG, it was the app update, I think it basically reset notification preferences so you get everything.
+0I had a message in my app inbox before Cheltenham for a free bet, seemed to be targeted for me so did it – when I chased it up on the wed I was told I wasn’t sent an offer, and it was gone. The app is pretty rubbish really, I only use it if I get a notification and pre loaded betslip for a flash boost
I’m gubbed and hugely restricted on main sports but still get the boost. If it’s ever not there livechat tell me I’m not entitled to it but keeps coming back. The fact they restrict by sport, and don’t seem to have limits for inplay or Cheltenham keeps the account going
+0I tried but lost patience with live chat. One guy sent me a link to the home page like that would help. Another I spent five minute trying to explain their own offers to them. I don’t have time for that messing on a weekend…
The state of my account is that I get zero offers including boosts, not sure about bog but probably not. On the enhanced prices I can usually get a couple of pound and never have any trouble doing 20 ew on a bad ew race.
+0About £130 up after today’s boosts. Not the worst but again, only a few underlays, although looks like I would’ve made less if I’d underlayed so, all in all, happy.
My exchange is tied up with all the Masters bets, so couldn’t go as all out as I’d have wanted..

so how you guarantee £10+ on the football coz ive been looking today and no way, even the horses have been a joke
+0Horse-wise with the full £200 my better bets were £15 guaranteed profit each, the 3 & 3.35 at Kelso. The rest averaged about £10 each on the horses – from stakes ranging between £100-£200.
Football is admittedly harder, but I averaged about £8 per game today, admittedly one of those was an underlay that I then layed off lower. Agreed it isn’t always a given, and depends how much time you wanna spend on it. Typically the match odds for each game, at some point, will have a swing, resulting in you being able to get the full £200 on odds that are the same, unboosted, at the bookmakers & the exchange.
The horses though, you should be able to guarantee (if not underlaying) at least £10-20 on every race. I played it a bit safe at times today, and also restricted by my exchange funds. I found the horses today to be decent, actually. Only one race that I couldn’t get a match on.
+0If you use their new site on desktop/laptop you can now use the bet boost there. Much handier!
+0Anyone else lost their boosts today? and BOG?
Might be game over, after almost a full year of daily boosts..
+0Gubbed in April and still have mine
+0If you no longer have the boost, does anyone actually use Hills?
Their odds are some of the worst I’ve seen, ranking as bad as Tonybet, Energybet etc.+0Gubbed last year, boost gone.
I still placed the odd bet with them but decided to withdraw my remaining balance (< £200) a few weeks ago.
They wanted the usual ID sending to them before they would process the refund, they were pretty inept dealing with this and after a while and numerous emails the withdrawal request was not processed and my balance went back to what it was previously. No mention that they were going to do this.
I decided to try and get my balance to zero and lose money to the exchange. I now have over 3k in my account.
Interestingly though, by sheer chance, on what I thought would be one of my last bets, the horse I backed won and I got a free bet for 2 clear and have had a couple more since. I had definitely previously been banned from this offer so it looks like I have been ungubbed.
Still no boost but I might be eligible for other offers.
+0You did well Bob.
I look at horses across 10+ sites for any one race from 30 mins before off time and Hills are an absolute joke! By far the worst of the top books (even worse than Paddy).+0
