Any bank account will do the job here. I don’t think there’s an issue with opening a new account with your existing bank unless you plan to apply for a mortgage with them.

I’ve actually written an article about this that you might find useful…

    https://matchedbettingblog.com/article/best-bank-account-for-matched-betting/

It explains why it’s best to set up a separate account and takes you through the best banking options for matched betting.

If you want to drop me a message via FaceBook or Twitter with the screenshots, I’ll happily take a look for you.

Hi @deang. Bets using bonus funds are usually stake returned as you thought.

It’s difficult to say what’s occurred without seeing the figures but are you aware of the following term?…

‘Only the bets which do not exceed the original deposit amount will be included in the turnover requirements.’

So if you stake £100, only £50 of that would count towards wagering.

Have you already started the rollover? If not, it might be worth considering backing out and looking for offers with more favourable terms.

If you’ve already started, I would definitely advise low odds due to your limited bankroll. Just make sure you have enough funds available to complete the wagering requirement.

Yes, pretty much all bookmakers and exchanges have a list of restricted countries.

Smarkets don’t accept customers from the following countries…

Australia, France, Hong Kong, Switzerland, China, South Africa, Denmark, Czech Republic, Belgium, Turkey, the United States, Italy, Portugal, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.

    Apologies @ryanb75, missed this one.

Did you give this offer a go?

I think it’s generally an offer to avoid as the jackpot prize is shared between all winners and it’s very difficult to lay the bets you’re placing.

I’ve just opened up a new forum for Cheltenham guys.

I wasn’t expecting there to be too much demand for one this year.

    Good luck to everyone!

Not heard much about GatoBet, but I see they’re part of the same group as BetSteve, InterBet and PriveWin amongst others.

Appears to be a decent enough welcome offer!

There isn’t a promo code for the STS welcome offer. The bonus should be credited upon settlement of your qualifying bet and comes with a 6x wagering requirement.

If you don’t receive it soon, it might be worth querying it with them.

No, unfortunately you can’t do both.

My personal preference would be to do one of these price boosts instead of the standard welcome offer.

The wagering requirement for the standard welcome offer make it hard work, not to mention that you have to place combi bets.

For these price boosts you can just place a straightforward back and lay bet.

The bonuses have a 3x wagering requirement, so if you stand to win a £30.00 bonus like with this one, you should be able to extract around £27.00 cash from it. So instead of entering odds of 31.00 on the calculator, you can enter 28.00 instead.

If your bet wins, you’ll just have the wagering to complete and if it loses, you’ll make your profit straight away at the exchange.

As per the terms of the offer…

‘Your deposit must be wagered 10 times with the odds of 1.65. The bonus remains active and can be activated using funds from further deposits until all wagering requirements are met.’

So, if you continue with £2.00 losses for each £50.00 bet, you’ll lose a total of around £20.00 in activating the bonus.

You’ll then have a £50.00 bonus that just needs wagering once before you can withdraw it.

I’ve heard good things about BetBull and you’re right, it’s a very decent offer!

They’ve been around for a while now and their app is rated 4.6/5.0 on the Apple App Store from 9,500+ reviews, so I don’t think there’s any reason to worry with this one.

It sounds like you’ve made a couple of mistakes here @frustrated92.

As Tony has pointed out, you need to place free bets at higher odds. As the free bet stake isn’t returned, higher odds will enable you to maximise your profit.

You also need to make sure that you are laying the right amount which you can use the calculator for.

I’m not sure what exactly happened with your lay bet. If you placed a lay bet of £20.00 at really low odds, you should have only lost around £5.00-£6.00 at Betfair.

Be sure to have a thorough read of my matched betting guide which takes you through the process step-by-step…

It looks like they’re connected with Karamba, but even so, I can’t see anything in their terms that states you shouldn’t be eligible for the free bet…

I wouldn’t say the bonus to cash ratio is standard across the board, but it’s nothing to worry about as long as you bear it in mind from the start.
