LV Bet sign up offer

  • Hi, has anyone had any experience with the LV bet sign up offer (50% up to £50?) The requirements seem a bit difficult, in particular:

“Bonus must be wagered 15 (fifteen) times on bets with overall odds of minimum 1.80 (⅘) within 21 days from the time credited.
Only combi bets which include at least 2 selections using minimum odds of 1.25 (¼) each with the final odd of at least 1.80 (⅘) counting towards the turnover of the wagering requirement.
Your account balance is subjected to a system named Bonus to Cash ratio (BCR)’. ‘BCR’ is the percentage (proportion) split between your total cash balance and your current bonus balance. E.g. You deposited £50 in cash and got a £25 bonus. If you wager £75, £50 will come from your deposit and £25 from your bonus. If you win £150 from this wager it will go to your bonus balance and will be separated £100 (2/3 of the win) is your real money and £50 (1/3 of the win) is your bonus.”

I’m wondering if it’s worthwhile and what the best strategy might be.

    Thanks
    A

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

It’s trickier than some offers, but there’s still value in it.

You’ll find some doubles to lay in the accumulator markets on Betfair and Smarkets, or failing that you can lay sequentially, provided the events you’re betting on don’t overlap.

You can underlay your bets too which ensures you retain the full bonus amount if your back bet wins.

Just make sure you have a big enough bankroll to keep going in the event that your back bets keep winning.

Thanks Matt, I reckon I’ll wait till my roll is a bit bigger before taking on this one. I like the sound of the underlay method so look forward to using that, and perhaps my first sequential lay bets!

The bonus to cash ratio I assume is fairly standard for this sort of deal and nothing to worry about?

I wouldn’t say the bonus to cash ratio is standard across the board, but it’s nothing to worry about as long as you bear it in mind from the start.
