T20 cricket world cup offers?

  • Just noticed paddy are offering money back as a free bet on losing match result if your team scores 175 or more. Could come in a few times when the bigger teams play each other. Anyone spotted any other offers on the cricket?

  • New to matched betting?

I think that could happen quite a lot actually – 200 seems almost the par score these days, and the wickets in Asia are usually quite flat. I’ll be on it like a car bonnet!

Personally do not think the PP offer will be that profitable. For the free bet to come you have to have bet the losing team. This will mean that the team batting 1st must score more than 175 and team batting 2nd win the game.

Total of 35 games in the tournament but in the last 20/20 world cup in 2014 in Bangladesh (Similar conditions) this only happened in 2 games out of 31.

In fact this has only happened 18 times in 247 international 20/20 matches.

Hopefully this link will show results for you……..

Ladbrokes have Zimbabwe and Afghanistan both to win boosted from 8/11 to 4/5.

You can sequentially lay on bet fair for tiny profit but I would just take it as a value bet.

£25 pays back £1.49 risk free with sequential lay at current odds, nothing doing on smarkets at the moment but if it gets busy there might pay less commission if you can get on there.

Or run around 400 of your local ladbrokes stores and bet £25 in each pays back £596 😉

That’s a good shout Fog Blog. Afghanistan probably the bigger risk but that’s the second match so I’ll maybe take a risk on Zimbabwe and consider laying after (hopefully) that’s won…

Offer applies to the first bet on the match result market on each match.
Free bets will be credited before 12pm the following day and be available for 7 days on cricket
Applies to Online, Mobile, Phone, PP Messenger and Text bets only. Retail bets do not apply.

Agree with smarty that this offer is unlikely to be that profitable. All things aside, 175 is a big score for T20.

Where does it say the chasing team has to win?

Say the side batting first and scores 200 and the chasing side fall short say 180. Won’t there be refunds then?

I was just about to post the same thing mbpunter. Pick and choose your games. Don’t pick games with weak teams involved. Plus certain grounds will be higher scoring pitches etc.

Fair enough that would pay. Still happens very infrequently. But think happened that way in 3 other match’s during the last world cup.
