advice/help with non runner /risk free bet

won last race on channel 4 race last week so my risk free carried forward to todays first race .
I placed risk free on race but horse ( magical fire ) was withdrawn at the stalls . I didn’t have chance/time to place another bet .
Obviously I was refunded my bet but lost my risk free option through no fault of my own.
Has anyone got experiance of this happening ? Is it worth asking on chat for some sort of recompense or is it just a case of tough luck.

its possible that it would have carried over onto the next channel 4 race. its worth asking on chat anyway just incase something similar happens in the future.

Same thing for me, had a great profit on the each way and would have been very profitable, went on live chat, basically risk free bet lost, they said they’d given back the £50 which was true but lay was also voided, completely wasted risk free bet, stupid horse,just very bad luck, hey ho, that’s the way it goes sometimes.
