Am I missing something?

  • Assuming the exchange allows in-play bets. Right?
If so,for example, Portugal were 1.5 on smarkets, yet 2.5 in-play at 365.

Won’t this give you a good profit whatever?.

Can’t be right but bit puzzled

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Yes you are correct you would make a good profit. And i am sure some people do make money on the in-play markets.
But i have always found it to be a nerve wrecking way. Because the odds fluctuate so quickly and situations can change just as quick.

Some pro’s use special software/bots to place their bets for them. You try doing this using the manual option and a online calculator telling you how much to stake on each section. Before you know the odds have changed again.
Also i believe isn’t there so many seconds delay on the exchanges before a bet is accepted in play.

    Thanks for the info.
Still may be possible if you’re quick, so I’ll risk a small bet
