Bet365 – £125 Grand National Refund E/w Bets!

  • Hi All,

The Bet365 offer has landed! Simply you cannot afford to miss this offer!

In preparation, knowing this was likely to drop, I’ve built us an “extra place” calculator that will do all the crazy maths for you to save you having to do it!

It can be found here: https://www.antodev.com/extraplace

Lets hit 5th place again guys!

    Cheers
    Anto

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Dazlad. Lay it off on smarkets to save commission. Just the normal place market. The advantage then is that there is the chance you win the back bet at the bookie but don’t have to pay the lay (if horse is exactly 5th).

Think i might do the same thing in the morning, split it over 5 bets.

should give me some remaining exchange cash for some other offers too.

Smarkets lay odds are complete shite compared to betfair right now and smarkets is where all my cash is!

    Question:

Could I just back £25 (£50 Each Way) each on five different horses and then lay only the ‘win’ aspect at the exchange?

using the regular calcluator, I take it I would enter £12.50 as my qualifying amount (due to the £125 refund) – or would I still enter £25?

Sorry – meant to put £25 and £50 instead of £12.50 and £25

Used Betfair here due to the poor odds on smarkets but tbh after commission there wasn’t a massive difference.

Thanks Sammy, saw the fall on vatour earlier hope he will be ok to ride then odds should align.

Smarty you still needed 250 in b365 but got 125 back or did you do the bets in stages? I had 300 in betfair which covered all 9 horses.

Daz I did 10 horses 12.50 ew. I laid off just the win using the calculator as normal putting 12.50 as my bet. Worked out -20 for 9 horses with 1 still to lay. In your scenario you would put 25 into matts usual calculator assuming you are betting 25 ew (total 50)

    Thank you, Antisocial…

Forgive me for asking but, if I were to say I do the same as you and place 10 x £12.50 bets, if I were to use the scenario of Holywell who is currently 17 on B365 and 21 on Betfair, using the calculator, my liability would be £405.80.

If I then apply this 9 further times, surely my liability would be over 4k? I did read earlier posts which mentioned only laying the horse with the highest liability but I just don’t get the logic to that.

You lay every horse but if the next horse had a liability of £300 Smarkets doesn’t deduct the £300, as £405 has the highest liability. Only one horse can win so it takes that into account.Basically you have the £300 covered by the original £400. If the next horse was £500 liability you would need an extra £100.

Not sure what you have done there Daz, your liability would only be 200ish if you are just laying the win (12.50 ew). As you are just laying the win when you put others on with lower odds your liability remains the same as you will only need to pay out at maximum the highest odds one, hope that makes sense?

In the example you gave just use matts calculator

    Back stake 12.5
    Odds 17
    Lay odds 21

    Commission 5

Gives about 2.86 loss and let’s your ew part run for potential profit. Note this way isn’t guaranteed we are hoping for a couple of places from our ten horses.

Really hope these exchange odds come in a bit, they have been drifting all evening, bit of a concern.

So annoyed I can’t do this offer. I actually messaged them to ask if they would accept my bet as last time I bet I was restricted to a £10 stake!
They said that I just need to try and bet to find out my max stake lol
I don’t want to deposit £250 only to have to withdraw it again if they won’t let me bet

they’ll come in as punters will pick up the back prices on the exchange if they differ drastically from the main bookies.

For example many clouds 9 with laddies and 11.5 here

Glad I got my bets out the way tonight, can imagine there will be lots of panic tomorrow morning! Agreed….some people on the blog have no clue what they’re doing…see the numbers guaranteed £50 odd and potential £400 and just throw money left right and centre not having a clue what they are doing. Almost a certainty there be people saying they actually lost a shit ton.
