Haven’t got the money in Smarkets for guaranteed profit so I’ve done… The top 10 horses £12.50 each way. Matched at Smarkets win only. Total loss £16. So if nothing places I have lost £16 if any place I’ll get something. Fingers crossed.

John W – Usually does happen with smarkets but its been very stable lately, Cheltenham had no problems at all.

That said, I agree, something is going on, theres so much liquidity over at betfair with better lay odds, one can only assume there is a delay.

Managed a total loss of £33 laying wins and eachway. Happy with that, plus a huge chance of hitting 5th place and hopefully BOG on the winner??

smarkets live chat claim there are no issues and everything is working fine. I guess there really is not a lot of liquidity, everyone is over at betfair.

Shutthefrontdoor getting backed in! Really don’t know if I want him to win..i’d get £60 more profit, but the fact my exchange balance is gone then withdrawing out of bet365 etc… everyone praying for a 5th place so odd when you think about it haha!

If our horse wins we get a risk free bet too. If it was £25 each way do we get a risk free £25 bet or £50? from Bet365.

I’m a bit confused could someone work out this bet for me..i.e. The potential profits for each outcome. For the bet365 offer. Using betfair as the exchange.

Don’t trust smarkets for anything this volatile, not worth the risk when the liabilities are 3-4 figures.

Anyone placed a bet recently and got their refund? I placed a couple last night and got the refund pretty much instantly but placed one 15 minutes ago and still nothing. I wouldn’t mind but I need the funds to place my last bet I can’t deposit anymore because I’ve reached my limit. Open the account ages ago way before I started Matched Betting and put limits I never thought I’d get anywhere near!

The place lay odds are ridiculous. I might just lay the 5 places at Betfair and guarantee an extra £20, but no jackpot for a 5th place finish.
