Bet365 – £125 Grand National Refund E/w Bets!

  • Hi All,

The Bet365 offer has landed! Simply you cannot afford to miss this offer!

In preparation, knowing this was likely to drop, I’ve built us an “extra place” calculator that will do all the crazy maths for you to save you having to do it!

It can be found here: https://www.antodev.com/extraplace

Lets hit 5th place again guys!

    Cheers
    Anto

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

I’ve taken Many Clouds at 10.0, Bet365 give you the £125 back immediately which freaked me out a bit as I thought I had screwed it up.

Lay odds were 11 so I stuck in £119.27 at 10.5 hoping it will match. Typically though its gone out to 12.

Will sort out my each way lay in the morning but if I took everything as it were now I’d have either £63 or £469 profit. Really cannot complain about that but yeah hopefully the each way lay odds will come in at least a little.

No way could I be bothered spreading this across a number of horses. Previous winners have a good record of completing the course second/third time around so Many Clouds has a good chance i think.

Sorry Ryan misread your post. Thought you had chosen 5 different horses. Can you do this on the offer or are you only allowed 1 horse? Terms not too clear just says max £125 refund.

See how it goes and if anything is hit.

    Thanks Chris.

I might not lay the place as suggested by Kjillman and I’m going to spread it across a few horses.

Can someone tell me why in the guide you put 20 into the cashback part of the calculator?

    thanks.

I don’t know if I’m going mad, but when i get different levels of profit when using the calculator on this thread, or Matts thread. Differs by a fiver.

I know the usual answer would be check the commission etc, but all is 100% accurate on both.

Presume no one else has this?

My calculations are based on Many Clouds.

    Back at 10 – 125 x 2
    Lay at 11 (win)
    Lay at 5.6 (place)
    Commission 5%

    Matts calculator has £57.92 profit
Calculator on here has £52.93 profit

Big difference but why? Anyone else fancy having a look based on above……

PS. I know its all profit but i like the re-assurance of calculators actually getting to the same answer! lol

Robbo its because of your commission. 5% if you’re using Betfair but 2% if you’re using smarkets (as per Matts blog)

I’ve taken Many Clouds at 10.0 on Bet365 as well. The £125 was credited back to me within half an hour.

I’m going to keep an eye on the exchange tonight but I probably won’t lay till sometime tomorrow. The grand national is the biggest event in the mug betting calendar. A lot of people only place one bet year, and it’s on this race. Many of those betting don’t have a clue about horse racing and pick depending on tips. Almost every article I’ve seen, either online or in the press, has tipped Many Clouds. I think the money will come for him in a big way tomorrow, bringing the consequent price adjustment.

Right started to have a look for odds…seen a few good ones for around £73 profit. Obviously this requires around £2500 total lay so probably isn’t available to all…but definitely worth getting it boxed off tonight.

Shutthefrontdoor 17/20 & 5/6.4…£75 profit potential £700 if in the extra place, £2549.82 needed to lay.

Morning Assembly 23/26 & 6.5/7.8 £85.88 profit potential £898 if in the extra place, £3476.62 needed to lay.

So the money is there if you don’t mind taking some savings out to put in smarkets for a weekend (if you have it ahah)
