6.8 for 5 places on betfair – miss out on a big pay day if 5th but can lock in £100 if you have a big exchange

Guaranteed profit on Matt’s post down to 57 or so. I think I’m gonna do a Kjillman strategy and hope for the best.

Sorry your going off betfair may bad…El chico its because the place odds on the fav is shocking…I guess it all depends on the funds you have available will depend on the profit on this one.

I like the Kjillman idea of having 5 options or so and could even then lay the place on one or two

The more i look at this the less likely im going to do it. Just don’t have the funds in the exchange to cover it, and the lower you go the less profit you make as the qualifying loss is pretty big.

You’ll be lucky if you make £20 from a £50 each way go.

Bit gutted, but ill just have to make do with the footie bets as normal.

Got 5 horses on for 25 e/w and have laid them all…. I took a bit less on many clouds since I think he has a good chance of getting 5th- just under £10 but got around £14-15 on all the others so just shy of £70 guaranteed. Odds could come down tomorrow but who knows, I’m happy to bank that and have it all done with.

Also only needed around £700 liability spreading it across 5 horses – my horses are Many Clouds, Saint Are, Shutthefrontdoor, The Druids Nephew and Holywell 🙂

Just to add and I think we’ve missed the obvious here, if our selection does win then we get a £50 risk free bet to use on the next 4/1 race.

Theres nothing in the terms to say this isnt the case.

Done well to get £70 from 5 horses, I thought my £72 was good and I put it on the one horse with the best odds I could find out of every horse! But Robbo I wouldn’t leave it…even if you can only do £20 each way its still easy simple profit…?

Think i’d rather it lose than win £2700 in bet365 ouch…..

Quick question as I’ve never played each way before.

Whats difference between “place” and “each way” on exchange. The obvious one to go for is Each way, but i know its place given the odds examples given.

So which horse is the safest? I ran out of time to fire into Matlab today.

£66 in the end as many clouds odds changed- without him I could have got £70 though

And was about to say the same Robbo- this offer is honestly too good to miss- get on whatever you can. The money literally goes straight back into your account as cash! And remember if you split it up in smaller amounts over different horses the liabilities will cancel each other out and you will have a much smaller outlay altogether

What is your definition of safest…? and yeah the problem many people face is they want to do the fav but the fav’s place odds is awful…so you have to go further down the field hence my pick of shutthefrontdoor for example.
