New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Roro, stop being irrational. You “glanced” at a market and considering betting it… It happened to win and you’re bemoaning not betting it – a classic type of confirmation bias in gambling and investing. I also considered betting on a penalty for Man Utd and you don’t see me complaining!

+0You’re right Mark, classic example of confirmation bias. Although I’d just call it negativity from my point of view. It’s disheartening to have gambled three of these and not won, whilst my facebook news feed is littered with people who won their free bets.
+0Yeah, I can sympathise. Just stay positive! It’s a really small sample, so if you plan on not guaranteeing profit (which is fine in the long run), make sure your bets are good value – treat it as though you’re laying by maximising the return and just don’t lay. Also remember that people only post their winning bets…! 😉
+0My mate was telling me with these he does the btts fh market
I the odds were 1.16 @ 5
£50 @ 1.16 =£58 + inplay stake =£108
£8 profit
£50 @ 5 =£250
£150 profit
I think I’ve worked it out correct
wouldn’t that be breaking the terms ?
guaranteeing profit+0Yes, that’s probably against the terms of the offer. There’s every chance that Bet365 could choose to not refund his in-play bet if it lost (although, they might not be too fussed in general).
+0Cheers Mark thats what I was thinking
