bet365 offer – punt the bonus

  • Hi,
Just a quick question as I am planning to open a B365 account.

I don’t have the float to matched bet the rollover full amount available in my betting accounts for MB so I am not matched betting it. Can anyone tell me if there is anything fundamentally wrong in the below:

I plan on depositing £200, finding a close match above 1/2 and laying off 4 x £50 bets with as low Q/L as possible.

Then – i am thinking this triggers the £200 i can then bet, which I need to total £1200 in settled bets.

I’m thinking to get low Q/L’s, with the potential (if i have a high win rate) to get a good return.

Just to clarify, if it all goes wrong and I lose, i still am allowed to withdraw any b365 funds, if the bets win on the qualifying bet??

Many thanks in advance for replies.

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Not sure you have it completely right saint.

I think the process is …

    1. Deposit 200
    2. Immediately get 200 free so you see your balance is 400.

From here I am not too sure, but I have a feeling they use your free balance first. So you won’t be able to withdraw your real money or your bonus until you have wagered the full rollover. And at that stage you may have nothing of either balance left. So I think there is a risk that you will lose your full balance.

Its something you can ask on b365 help too.

Bear in mind now that most of the experienced guys have done this sign up over a year ago so my advice might be out of date – but this is why the newbies need to post more to help each other out.

If you come on here and get advice then pass it on and keep it rolling!

I did something similar to you because I signed up bet 365 before i knew about matched betting. I put in 200, got 200 and punted the entire 400 three times over on low odds (about 1.5). I came out with about £100 profit if I remember.

actually fog, sorry to contradict you, you have to bet your own money first, then they release the bonus funds so if your first bet wins your balance becomes winnings + bonus, which then uses the bonus money first. so all the time you have a balance made up of any bonus – including winnings from the bonus – you will have to rollover until you reach x3 the original deposit.

I’ve also just noticed they’ve banned skrill/neteller from the welcome bonus. deffo cracking down!

So in that case what saint wants to do isnt risk free ie punting the bonus.

If his first 4 bets to qualify for the bonus all win in the bookie then he is down a good bit in the exchange. Has funds in the bookie but will have to bet through 1200 before his initial 200 is withdrawable and by then it might be gone (along with the money already ‘lost’ in the exchange).

I’m also a bit puzzled how matched betting will work with this type of offer. There are quite a few like the Bet 365 one. As I understand it you deposit, say £200 and you get £200 bonus, but you can’t withdraw any cash (bonus or actual money) until you have satisfied the 5 times stake + bonus condition. In other words before you can touch ANY money you have to bet 5 x £400 =£2000. The only way I can see that matched betting would work with this is if your initial bet of £200 LOST. Ideally your bonus bets would also lose, but if you back rank outsiders with Bet365 hoping to lose you would need a massive account balance with the exchange to have enough to lay. At least that’s how I read it. Perhaps someone can put me right if I’ve got it all wrong.

Thanks to everyone that commented on this. My method won’t work , and I have clarified with live chat (obviously not mentioning the laying off). Sorry if it’s confused anyone and thanks for your help.

I wrote a guide on how to do these offers whiskyman
    https://matchedbettingblog.com/topic/a-guide-to-rollovers-playthroughs-wagering-etc/

although that is for matched betting your way through the complete offer, not what the OP is proposing.
Saint, I would suggest you come back to it when you’ve got the float together, its probably the best offer out there and it would be a shame to waste it.
    good luck

Thanks. That was a good read. Seems I was right about the best scenario is if your qualifying bet and bonus bets all lose.
