BetFred Spain & Belgium to win 4.5

  • BetFred boost of Spain and Belgium to win today up to 4.5

You can lay Spain @ 1.45 on smarkets

    And if they win
    Belgium currently @2.64 on smarkets

Which would give a risk free go at £59.89 for every £100 you can put on it (I hope)

I doubt it would have lasted long as it was one of Fred’s boosts.

Hope some of you got it on anyway.
It was a notification to my mobile, I have no idea how to navigate BetFred’s website on computer. It is gash.

    £800 on Spain & Belgium to win @ 4.5 = £3600 return (£2800 profit)

Spain v Czech 1st, need to win £800 if Spain loose to cover the bookie bet so lay stake is 800 / 0.98 (2% smarkets commission)

    Lay Spain £816.33 @1.45 means £367.35 Liability

So if Spain loose we get the £800 from smarkets to cover the bookie bet.

If Spain win, we loose £367.35

    Match 2

If Belgium loose we need to win the £800 bookie bet AND the £367.35. In total £1167.35. So need to lay £1191.17 to take into account the 2% commision

    Lay Belgium £1191.17 @2.64 means £1953.52 liability

    So if Belgium (had) won

    Bookie £2800 profit – £367.35 (from match 1) – £1953.52 (from match 2) = £479.13 Profit

    As Belgium Lost

    Bookie – £800 – £367.35 (from match 1) + £1167.35 (from match 2) = £0

To throw the cat amongst the pigeons I actually decided to Overlay the 2nd leg to ensure a little profit no matter the outcome.

To continue the above £800 bet as an example

    Looking at match 2 only:

If you layed @ 2.64 £1374.05 on Belgium (instead of 1191.17) your liability would have been £2253.44.

    So:
    Bookie win
    £2800 profit – £367.35 (from match 1) – £2253.44 (from match 2) = £179.21 Profit

    As Belgium Lost
    –£800 – £367.35 (from match 1) + £1346.57 (from match 2) = £179.22 profit

I did this with a much smaller stake and to guarantee £14 out of it.
