Betsafe £20 free bet?

  • Once I got my free bet I placed it on odds of 3.1 (above 1.5 as their Ts&Cs mentioned). On the calculator I put it through as a free bet stake not included and did the lay bet. The bet came in and I got back £42 (£62 minus the stake). I then tried to withdraw, but betsafe told me I had to bet again on odds of 1.5 or higher.

Do some free bets require me to bet multiple times before I can withdraw?
And should I be putting them on low odds or high odds as ‘free bet, stake not returned’ or ‘qualifying bets’?

    Thanks

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

sounds like you need to roll it over, bit cheeky seeing it was SNR (stake not returned)
you should bet through at minimum odds on the qualifying bets settings, you only need to worry about the other settings when you are using the actual free bets, assuming they are SNR of course.

I would check the T+Cs to make sure you do need to though, I don’t remember having to rollover.

    Good luck.

    Thanks deathstar,

I’ll double check Ts&Cs in future. First time I’ve come across a free bet rollover

    betvictor do it too.
the key to these is knowing whether you get your stake back or not. if you do, use qualifying bet, if not use free bet settings. they will only apply SNR to the actual free bet, not your winnings.
