I’ve mentioned matched betting to a couple friends, some get it and some just stick to the “bookies always win”. Anyways I wondered if any of you bet on behalf of someone or advise them of what bets to place, as logging on to different accounts under the same ip address can cause some issues surely? Yeah wanted your feedback and if any of you do it.

I have made accounts for my girlfriend and placed bets for her but I’m very cautious about it and pick and choose which offers to do. I also only place bets for her from a device that I don’t use for my own betting… so far I have had no issues and quite regularly have done the Bet365 risk free in-play offer for her and myself. I feel that with a completely different name, address, and bank card it is unlikely there would be a problem at all but I still do worry about betting from the same IP address and definitely do it with caution.
Yeah I would definitely make sure you use a different bank card etc as I once signed myself up and my partner at Coral to take advantage of the welcome offer twice but some time later there was a problem with withdrawing on my card and I had to add my partners to try to withdraw funds and it got flagged up that the same card was being used across two different accounts. However, Coral never even restricted my account or shut it down they just simply told me to change card details.
