  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

BetVictor and its sister companies really are tossers. I was gubbed by BetVictor so opened up a McBookie account. Literally as soon as id signed up I got the traders decision email from them. Didn’t have time to deposit, let alone place a bet.

I’ve read similar stories on various forums regarding BetVictor, I would imagine they gubb a lot of new mug punters too. Having said that, taking early prices, short odds qualifier, and then long odds for the FB with the lay odds same as the back odds is classic match betting behaviour.

If you were working for BetVictor, what would you do if someone joined and did exactly what you have just done. Would you think to yourself this is a mug we want to keep, or would you think this person is probably a match bettor or at the very least someone who knows what they are doing and is looking to get value from his/her bets.

Admittedly making a decision after just two bets seems rather harsh, but lots of these bookies are now so scared of matched bettors they just wont take any risks even if it means gubbing lots of mugs.

Dave, no-one is scared of matchbetters as they are such an insignificant part of the market.
Just ask Ryan and others !!!
