Cheltenham offers tactics

So many Cheltenham offers… Going to struggle to do all the offers in half an hour or so! Any tips on how people are going to tackle them? Or is it a good idea to just do a few bookmakers at a time / per day? Found it quite difficult in the past to match horse racing as the odds change so quick and I find myself waiting around for the right time

New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

I knw what you mean, but with so much to do it might be worth trying to get some done in advance, be that the night before or in the morning if the races
With so much profit around it might also pay to be a little less worries about slightly higher qualifying losses etc…
You can also predict which bookies will be harder to find acceptable matches on – Sky immediately spring go mind as one that always have shit odds until 5 mins before the off.
Planning and preparation will help. Don’t feel like you have to do every offer either! Aggregated liabilities on the same race obviously make it easy to do everything though, if you want to 🙂
+0Agree with Tony, usually sky’s odds are terrible for instance but the fact you are getting MB if it loses means it doesn’t match as much…so goes without saying Sky is a must. If you have done the Coral Promo of £20 free bet then get that done with. That’s what i’ll be doing. Unfortunately i’m in work the Tuesday & Wednesday so other than them two I don’t think i’ll be able to do much which is a shame as betfair has a cracker offer on day 1 (get a winner of 3/1 SP and get 3 x£25 free bets) Matt has already blogged it which you can guarantee about £10 each race. However, I have taken Thursday & Friday off so plan to sit on my laptop/tablet all day trying to make the most of every offer out there!
+0Markets will be far more liquid than usual so i expect it should be easy enough to get alot done early. Well i’m hoping so anyway.
+0I’m on a course all week which I completely forgot about when I started doing the bank builders. Going to have to logon early each day then during breaks/lunch to get stuff on!
+0I wonder if anyone will have the balls not to lay. With all the bookies offering free bets and promos on all the races. You could have half the field covered off – so not a huge risk…..
Back the favs with your qualifying bets and the longer shots with your free ones….
I kind of mean isn’t laying just betting on all the other horses?
Eg
Bet on fav with will
2nd fav on ladbrokes
3rd fav on sky
4th fav on betfair
5th fav with free bet coralYou’ll have a winner and free bet almost every race. Get it all done the night before and get a boost from BOG as early prices often change quite a bit.
+0I’m giving that some thought FoG, I figure the Sky and Betfair offers will net me a nice profit anyway, plus there’ll be a few decent arbs too, so may just punt some of my free bets

cheers this has helped a lot! i too am at work all week so will try and do as many as possible the night before / early morning. The sky and betfair are going to be the priorities, a few magic toilet trips may be taken next week hahaha
+0Glad to know its not just me who does that in work haaha!!
+0People at work think I have diahorea
+0I just do it at my desk! My tracker spreadsheet looks a lot like something work related in any case thankfully 😉
+0Don’t forget ladbrokes offer on money back if the fav wins first race at Cheltenham each day which is common
