Fallers insurance
-
There are several places offering fallers insurance, but how often does it happen in jumps races? Seems a lot harder to hit than 2nd place. Is it worth doing?

New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Matchedem seems to think so! If you can get very low QL, then between BOG, rule 4 deductions and faller insurance there is definitely value.
+0Yes, I read his posts. I was really hoping for a second opinion.
+0My opinion is that it’s not worth it. About 10% chance of faller, less likely for the top horses. And the faller rate is falling year on year as pressure to make the sport safer.
Of course if you have the time or tools to identify horses for zero QL then you’ll hit one eventually and over all end up in profit.
You may also benefit from bog etc.
+0Anyway. I think there is enough on this on the forums. Do a search and you will see tons of info in here.
+0Actually, now you mention this fog, it’s difficult to search for topics on this forum. You get all kinds of unrelated topics and often have to sift through many pages before finding a mention of the search term. If only there was a way to just search thread titles, that would help a lot.
I appreciate your answer to the question.
+0Try searching “Odds of a horse falling?”. There is a thread there where I have put in some stats based on horse racing result data that I have collected.
