Help Bet365 has gone all Pete Tong

  • Hi,

    Well it was bound to happen eventually.. I’ve made a complete balls up of of a bet that I was running on Bet365

    So I’ve gone through my original £200 deposit and had the email saying I was free to withdraw that etc.

    The story so far;
    I had bet £100 on the Crystal P vs Everton match at 2.9 and on betfair I had 2.8 on the lay.. except it wasn’t, it was Crystal P vs Watford (on the 24th Apr).. all I can assume is I did a search for Crystall P and it put this at the top and it was late at night and I didn’t double check..

    So the Bet365 lost.. and so the £100 disappeared

    And I now have a laybet liability of £189 for Crypstal P vs Everton due on the 24th Apr

    So do I cash out from Betfair and lose £9 – and take it on the chin for £100 lost on Bet365.. or do I now do a Bet on Bet365 to try and match this.. odds are 2.5 for Crystal P.. that would be 2.5 bet vs 2.8 lay

    Any advice gladly received..

    I’m not weeping as yet.. as I did the inplay bet the other day and have a free £50 bet in hand and will also do the £50 mobile free bet when I can..

    My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

    Cashing it out or doing a separate bet backing the event will do basically the same thing and will get rid of the random lay bet…unfortunately at the end of the day you’ve lost the £100…mistakes happen, it could have been worse. Just learn to be more careful in future!
